I know we have kicked this around before but I would like to do it again. I want to get rid of my 1973 Blackberry and upgrade to either a Droid or an Iphone and I would like to hear from both sides which way is the "right" way to go?

Anything with an apple logo is tech gold. I switched to iPhone and will never go back.

iPhone.

 

It is user friendly.

 

Excellent visuals.

 

iTunes only works on an iPhone.

 

The new Siri is awesome.

 

It is the original smartphone.

 

You can iMessage(text) with other iPhone users and it doesn't count as a text on your plan because it is sent out over wifi or 4G and not over the phone network.

 

Much easier to use.

 

More app designers make apps for the iPhone than for Droid. (KHSAA app is a great example)

 

All the cool kids have iPhones.

 

I know of at least 7 people who went from an iPhone to a Droid and came back to an iPhone in less than a month. I only know 1 person who went from iPhone to Droid and kept the Droid. (Side note, that person may be getting an iPhone 5 :lol:)

I have an Iphone4 for work and a Droid Razr for personal use. I can tell you I like my Razr better..

Droid. Have Droids for both my personal and work phones. I had the option for an iPhone for work but passed on it. I have found all the aps I am interested in for the Droid platform. I don't like the limits Apple requires.

Very easy. I own an iPhone and iPad but I have very little trouble trying to upload or share pictures with non apple devices.

I love y iPhone but I've never had a droid either. Hard for me to say. I love the interface of the iPhone and the features it has to offer. There are some things that droid probably offers that the iPhone doesn't but I think the pros for the iPhone by far outweighs the cons.

Go with the IPhone. You will love it and have no regrets.

I love my iPhone and have no trouble recommending it. I do believe in the prevailing years that you may see more in the way of innovation from the Droids.

IPhone is only apple product I own. I would take it over any phone. Right now you can get a 4 for 99 cents and a 4s for 99 dollars.

 

The biggest advantage of the iphone over any other phone is that 80% of the people I know have an iphone. So there are a ton of people that can help you with anything you need help with.

 

The next biggest advantage is that every ap out there is made for iphone. That cannot be said for droid.

 

That being said, the droid is still an excellent phone, but I can't tell you how many people said "I wish I had bought an iphone" simply for advantage #1.

Thanks for the feedback folks I really appreciate it. I'm pretty sure I'm going to go with the Iphone just wanted to hear some more about it before I decided. I'm due for an upgrade in November so I think that's what I'm looking to do. I'm one of those extremely annalytical people that would rather waste their money on stupid little stuff than go through the stresses of buying something that costs a few hundred dollars.
