It is a good predictor though. You could have said the same thing last year, and the year before, etc. I also think Highlands is going to win because Highlands has better athletes and better coaches. McCoy's versatility, Harris' power game, and the depth on defense will put separation between the teams. Cov Cath will have to have a very well established run game to win. Lastly, Highlands is the home team.

Put me in the camp that thinks home field has nothing to do with outcomes in high school.

Only thing perfect after next friday night will be the Birds record. This offense is too much. I don't see it anywhere near as close as you expect. Looking forward to this game. I don't think there is a home field advantage when playing Cov. Cath., when it comes to time of day. They are use to playing possibly half thier games per season at night and the other half during the day each year. It's the teams that play a home game once a year at Cov. Cath. in the middle of the afternoon on a Saturday or sometimes at 10:00 (due to heat) on a Saturday that get thrown off.

 

Cov. Cath. always comes with their A game. This year will be no different.
