You are preaching to the choir. The enquirer prep coverage was below the Post's in my opinion since I started reading the paper in the early 90's. The higher ups at the Enquirer will never spend the money on prep sports coverage in my opinion. Just another excuse to save money. If the so call Brilz v Koz incident happened during an injury timeout (assuming the player hurt was on the field), why was Brilz (an assistant coach) on the field? The only people on the field should be the trainer the players and the head coach(s). An asst. coach should not be close enough to talk to the opposing head coach.

 

And cases like this are why Brilz has the reputation he has.

The injury occured between the hash on Beechwood's side of the field and the sideline.

The ref's let the players come all the way over to the sideline (as opposed to the normal position on the hash).

Brilz was talking to the team ... as we were permitted by the refs.

 

The real question is ... why was the other head coach focused on anything other than his injured player?

 

 

 

So far ... the only reason that Brilz would have this reputation ... is because people who are uninformed believe and spread heresay and 2nd hand conversation.

Brilz walked out 10 feet on the field talking at the group around the injured player.

 

He was escorted back to the sidline by another Beechwood coach.

 

What ever was said did draw Koz's attention for a brief moment.

 

At that point the game was already over.

Coming from a hugely reliable source that was at the game, in the stands, Kozerski was quite upset at what he percieved as Beechwood players throwing low blows in the pile. This comes from a source that has zero ties to either team. My source told me that he's heard of this going on with the Beechwood players in years past as well. I trust my source 100% with anything.

even though Cross Backs is in quotations, isn't this a kind of bigotted attack, similar to using a racial or predjudiced word or term? I don't particullary care for the language mister. If you were Jewish would it be ok for me to call you something derogatory? There has to be some validity with these accusations if multiple people are bringing it up.

 

As for the game, HC is grossly undermanned and will be lucky to get out of the 1st round. Beechwood only attempted two passes? They will need to pass more if they want to get out of the region with all the injuries they have encountered.
