DNC Convention

From the article:

Evidently, fact checking is a weapon to be deployed against Republicans first and foremost.

Those poor republicans.

The Atlantic, for example, went after Ann Romney's "hardknock early years" after her speech to the Republican National Convention. An army of fact checkers, professional and amateur, slammed Vice Presidential nominee Paul Ryan's address the next night--though there was no basis whatsoever for their so-called corrections.

As I don't read/listen to FoxNews, did they also go hard against Ann Romney and Paul Ryan?

Remember there is a difference between embelishing and lying.

Agreed.

Their struggle may have been caused by spending habits not necessarily lack of money. Their struggle is a struggle nonetheless and it appears as though she may have embellished a little. :D

She has been the wife of a Chicago politician and on the Washington scene for a while now. Guess it comes with the territory. I still love the Obamas.

It would be awesome if Bill Clinton rolled out to "Big Pimpin'."

Bill will rock the house. America's greatest living President! He didn't make a living making B Movies either.

Is this going on, now? Wow. I didn't even notice.

Is this what you think the "founding fathers" wanted? Just curious.

Yes

@rolandsmartin: No one, not a single of my predecessors, could have fully repaired the damage he found in four years. That was Clinton's strongest line yet

Partnership over partisanship. Cooperation.

Simple tenets to success.....

On the 716 billion dollars 'that is exactly to the dollar the same amount of Medicare savings that Obama has in his own budget....'

"It takes some brass to attack a guy for doing what you did. "

The article cited earlier states no facts. It makes some assumptions. I drank a few beers in college, but I was a struggling student on work study. I ran for Student government and was paid a paltry 400.00 for holding office and went to Cancun with that money. That doesn't mean I wasn't struggling.

What were the facts that were wrong in the First Lady's speech?

From a strategy perspective and from an effectiveness perspective Pres Clinton was a huge success.

I'd imagine by morning we'll have some fact checkers find some issues.

Prior to his speech the night was rather dull.

I think Cici Goldwater (casting the Arizona delegation's votes for Obama) may be hammered.

Am I the only one who liked his sly way of hitting on Michelle Obama?

The roll call of the states is great. Each state give a mini-speech. Each ham has to bloviate.
