If I understand plainspoken correctly, he is saying that some schools charge less than the ADA amount to out of district students and that gives those schools an advantage over those schools that cannot financially afford to accept out of district students for less than the ADA amount. plainspoken, are you aware of any specific schools that charges tuition in an amount less than the ADA amount if the ADA doesn't follow?

No, but plainspoken did get the benefit of the best College education that this state has to offer, along with it being the top twenty in the nation. Your moronic statement once again is off basis. We are talking about money to attend schools. Most Highlands and Beechwood are both able to charge LESS than most schools. That is the point. Good for them. If other schools have a problem with it, they need to change in their own district. BTW, I would love to set our educational credentials side by side.

I do not think you are correct. The more "local" money you get the less "state" money you get. At least that is how it has been described to me.

Boone County Schools avg daily attendance in 2010 was about 19,000.

Jefferson County was about 97,000.

Beechwood has always had a lot of out of district players that have helped their teams, which is fine. That is the way the system is set up. I fail to see the point of crying about it.

 

No, they haven't. Their success has increased those numbers since the late 1990's. They were very successful before that. In fact most of their state championships happened before the transfers started to increase. Now that I think of it, maybe those out of FM transfers have hurt the program.
