This statement is highly inaccurate, Highlands didn't hold anything back in that scrimmage. They may have ran a limited amount of plays because they couldn't get first downs but the playbook wasn't vanilla as to not show anything for Boyle. That's not the way Coach Mueller thinks at all.

I can guarantee you my statement was dead on accurate! You must not know a lot about the Highlands way of thinking.

"Holding back" implies to some they weren't trying to win. They were not just "playing their hardest." Their goal was to win.

I really like Boyle Co - however playing Highlands AT Highlands will be tough. But the game goes deep into the 4th:

I get that you're a big fan and can appreciate that, but the statement you made is not fitting with what the coaches were trying to do or how the game was called. They held their cards so close to their vest that they tried to go deep on the very first play. I don't know much about the Highlands way of thinking but I know with 100% certainty that they weren't trying to hold things back against T in order to hide things from Boyle.

Should be a great game Friday. Highlands is the big favorite and with good reason. Pulling for my Rebels to upset the Birds. Heart takes the "County" but head would lean towards HHS in the first game of the year.

For those not going to Mio's before the game, fans of both teams are welcome, as is the case before every Highlands home game, at the Sideline Club pregame event in the parking lot across the street from the main entrance to the high school (not the main entrance to the football field). Can't park in the lot as those spots are all reserved for Sideline Club members and administration, but park near by and drop on it. Grills will be fired up and there is always plenty of food.

What about parking? What time should we arrive and where should we start looking for a place?

If you get to Ft. Thomas around 5:30pm, you MAY be able to find spots on the streets closer to midtown (Fire Dept south towards Mios and Subway. That is less than a 10 min. walk). Many people park in the bank parking lots along the Avenue or in the lot by Ameristop.

I believe that Highlands wins in a close one; I'm thinking by a touchdown or less.

Friday can't get here soon enough; really looking forward to this game. I definitely plan to arrive plenty early.
