BigGreenHorse
Don't you think there should be a rule that requires teams to stay on their ONE bench and not exchange each game? I mean no other sport does that. What's really anoying is when the fans switch too and then get mad when you wont lol:ohbrother:
Dlbdonn
Well I have to assume that you are referencing Volleyball . They switch sides at the net . Kinda neccessary to switch benches , so as to relay strategies and plays also they signal to the server surreptitiously where the serve should go . That is hard to do from the other side of the net . . Kinda unneccessary for the fans to switch . Complain about something that is important . lawildcat
Why would the fans move? If you could see the game from your seat during the first set, what would prevent you from seeing the game once the teams switch sides?

sweet16
Basketball teams switch ends during the game but stay on the same bench. Never really understood why volleyball did. One thing would be substitutions.
EQUUS GREVYI
Basketball teams switch ends during the game but stay on the same bench. Never really understood why volleyball did. One thing would be substitutions. Although basketball switches sides of the court at half, each team's players are directly in front of their bench about half the time. In volleyball, the players stay on their half of the court. Why not have them directly in front of their coach? This is done in college and even the olympics as well. It makes perfect sense for the teams to switch benches and very little sense for the fans to switch their seats.

sweet16
Then you just don't understand the logistics in coaching and playing volleyball , Then explain it to me. Substitutions?? Coaching?? Coaches have to coach away from their players in most sports then why not volleyball.
