I do get it...lots of college kids drink, I know I did my share of indulging in my 4 years on campus. However, you have to work to get arrested for public intoxication....you generally don't get pinched for just being drunk in public. There has to be some other circumstance or activity that you are participating in to attract police attention. The fact that he's been down this road before, and has learned nothing from it is what is disturbing.

Where is the discipline. Did he not ever get discipined as a kid growing up? Not sure how long Auburn will put up with this type of behavior. Seems he may never learn but I wish him the best of luck and I hope he can turn it around. He has the ability to be very successful but needs to be disciplined to do the right things.

As far as I know this is his first arrest. There have been a lot of rumors of various misdeeds, but he's always been able to avoid police trouble. That's not as easy to do away from home. He better figure out he's about out of free passes, and needs to grow up quickly, or he will lose this once in a lifetime opportunity.

It will take a few more incidents for him to lose his ride. Although it won't be the first time this has been said, hopefully this will be his wakeup call.

I stand strong on being very anti name calling in the HS threads, but he is an "adult" now and should be ripped for this. The whole world is in his hands. A FREE top notch college education and a chance to play football in the SEC. With all of his past issues if he hasnt learned by now I dont think he ever will. At this rate he will be at TMC (if he is that lucky) in 2 years tops. I am willing to bet something else will happen before the regular season starts!! What a complete waste.
