Zeke Pike Arrested

Isn't there a big lineman down there to take him and knock some sense into him?

If I'm an Auburn Coach, is this the kind of QB leadership I'm looking for?

Obviously, that is an issue for me if I am the coach. Can I afford to put my trust in Mr. Pike, knowing his history. Each time something like this happens, Mr. Pike gets deeper and deeper on the bench. Unless he does some serious growing up and avoiding trouble, he is just going to be another highschool superstar, with so much potential, that amounts to nothing! Mistakes happen, but when they keep happening, there has to be other issues going on.

All you can do is pray for him.

I wouldn't be surprised if Auburn moves him to DE or TE.

Word is he is coming back home, not sure if for good or just the summer.

Not sure that would be best for him.......Coming home to where he gets away with anything and everything and nothing is ever his fault...........

Seems like the better lesson would be to stay there and face the music and do some growing up...

Now since he is in college i feel it is OK to flat out call him a complete idiot. I stand strong on being very anti name calling in the HS threads, but he is an "adult" now and should be ripped for this. The whole world is in his hands. A FREE top notch college education and a chance to play football in the SEC. With all of his past issues if he hasnt learned by now I dont think he ever will. At this rate he will be at TMC (if he is that lucky) in 2 years tops. I am willing to bet something else will happen before the regular season starts!! What a complete waste.

I understand what you're posting KJ I really do, and I'm certainly not trying to make excuses for the kid. But at 19 he is no "adult". I dare say many of us were not at 19.

I've heard he is leaving Auburn.

Would love to see him transfer to UC.

No thanks...

What a damn waste. Anybody think he'll be back at Auburn?

Coming home sure seems to make it less and less likely.

Nope. Never heard of a kid leaving in the middle of a summer session for something like this and returning. Shaping up to be another brief but disappointing chapter that could be seen a mile away from anyone paying attention...
