I have heard he does 225 for sets of 5 at weights. That's hard to believe for a 14 year old. I don't remember much about him from last jr league season.

He started at center for the blue team..

I have also heard similar rumors about Ochoa. My rumor source said he was thinking about another school. Who knows? I wish him luck whereever he goes. He has a lot of natural talent, but the birds are deep at the running back/wr spot. He would be another great weapon, but they will fill the gap. I am glad to see Zigler at practice. Players were saying Ben planned to come to Highlands but you never know about the parocial kids until they get here. Hank Johnson will also be a great addition.

I also heard about another pick up today. A lineman type. His last name may be Robinson. I heard he had some pretty good size. Anyone have any info on his kid? This is such an interesting time because you never know who will come to Highlands from another school.

They could use a few more linemen.

I was told over the weekend that the big boy is a tight end. Also my understanding that Bradford has been playing tight end as well. Lot of time for things to shake out and once the equipment goes on there will really be some separation I am sure.

Robinson is a big tight-end from Hebron.

There have been between 30-40 coming to conditioning. More will come over the next week since school is out. They will also be picking kids up that will be transfering to Highlands from other schools (parochial, southgate, etc.). They should also be coming this week. I may be wrong about this but I have heard those students cannot begin until their school is out.

Hahahaha!!! You shining me!

Ding ding ding, will BBW please come to the office? LOL!!!

What the?

This kid looks like he can play.

So you say he looks good getting off the bus eh? Lets just wait until the kid puts on the pads and see if he can play football. Way too many kids are evaluated by the way they look or they way they perform at a non-contact camp. Practicing in pads are the true identity at any level!!! IMO.....

Point taken. I was simply saying he looks athletic. Time will tell.

At this point speculation is about all anybody has to go on. Making the jump from Jr. league to high school is significant. Jr. league legends may not pan out and no-named middle schoolers can become impact players. It's all just speculation.

Dale has his SCIT football camp this week, heard there are several hundred kids there. Maybe this same week in the future should be a mandatory "how to" and introductory opportunity for excited Frosh parents.

Maybe we could bring in the Big Bus, park it in the tailgate club parking lot, fire up the grills, pipe in some internet and maybe give a few lessons and point out the "who's who" of BGP and who to be aware of.

Maybe LN and Henry could head up the legal aspects, Tdy, TBirds and Sweep will provide refreshments and maybe we have Guru in as a special guest speaker. Just sayn..................:sssh:

Whoa.......

Easy there little guy!!!

I'm responsible for everything but the refreshments. It also sounds like the refreshments are already flowing a little....Wow!!!

Anything new on the frosh football front now that preseason conditioning will be winding down sometime this week? Have there been any position changes to speak of as yet? Are there any 7 on 7's scheduled for once they return from the dead period? All seems to be quiet which may be a good thing or is their some apprehension of just how good this team may be.

Good Luck to the two Frosh, Dougherty RB and Cain WR, heading to the University of Texas for the Team USA 15U National Team!!! Nice recognition for a couple of pretty good athletes. Partial here, but good kids off the field as well. They should represent HHS in good fashion.
