July 9, 201313 yr Takes me a while to get through books sometimes, but I finally finished the 4th installment of the King & Maxwell series, First Family. No complaints again, love Baldacci. Moving on to the 5th, with is called Sixth Man. I did buy a book on Amazon last night that I'm really looking forward too, Lt. Buck Compton's autobiography.

July 17, 201313 yr Did you read So Cold The River? Yes. It was very interesting throughout, takes place in French Lick, IN. Just started this one last night. This is my third Koryta book. He has fast become one of my favorite authors.

July 18, 201313 yr Finished Baldacci's "First Family" last night, and started on "The 6th Man" this evening. Have enjoyed reading the King & Maxwell series so far. But, probably going to hate finishing this current one, because I'll be left wanting more!

Turned out to be quite the crew of anti-heroes. Re-reading an old Ludlum thriller - "The Matarese Circle"; from that window of time where he was at his peak.
July 26, 201313 yr Finished Baldacci's "The Hit". Very good. Would recommend that you read it after "The Innocent". Starting JP's "The 12th of Never". My support of JP has recently waned, as the stories have become predictable. But it's fast, easy summer reading.
