September 6, 201313 yr Grisham has a sequel to "A Time To Kill" coming out in October. New Jack Reacher story coming out as well. :thumb: My kind of news! "A Time to Kill" is my favorite Grisham. Although, to be fair, I have not read any of his newer stuff.

September 7, 201313 yr Listening now to Bill Bryson a Walk in the Woods. It is a story of hiking the Appalachian Trail. Funny book [h=2]Publisher's Summary[/h] The Appalachian Trail trail stretches from Georgia to Maine and covers some of the most breathtaking terrain in America - majestic mountains, silent forests, sparking lakes. If you’re going to take a hike, it’s probably the place to go. And Bill Bryson is surely the most entertaing guide you’ll find. He introduces us to the history and ecology of the trail and to some of the other hardy (or just foolhardy) folks he meets along the way - and a couple of bears. Already a classic, A Walk in the Woods will make you long for the great outdoors (or at least a comfortable chair to sit and read in)
September 10, 201313 yr Just started this one last night: ^ This is one of those rare books that I bought solely because of reviews I read. This is her second novel & just twenty-five pages in, it is very unique. Just came out in the last couple of weeks, I think. This one is 600 pages, so it's taking me a while. I'm 2/3 of the way through it. Creatively written & story is pretty dark.
