Kyle W off the bench. Also I believe Jon Hood will help out next year and will get good minutes, we really don't have any backups to the guards next year.

I thought I was going to read more about possible lineups and I end up in a debate about prostitution. Awesome....

Who's gonna spell Harrow next season should he get in foul trouble? Do we have anyone else that can play a little point gaurd or will we be doomed? I'd hate to have to rely on Beckham or Polson.

Well I was wondering if he could play a little point guard too. If Hood can get his act together that will certianly help too.

Need at least a Guard that can back-up at each position. Be hard to find one this late in the game.

I'm basing my lineup off thinking none of this year's top six returns.

Ryan Harrow

Archie Goodwin

Alex Poythress

Alex Oriakhi or Anthony Bennett or Amile Jefferson (whichever one of the three we get)

Nerlens Noel

It's looking to me like Cal's actually going to strike out on all three. The popular thinking is that Bennett is Florida's to lose. Don't know a lot about Jefferson, but he always seemed destined to be in the ACC (NC State or Duke?). So I'm thinking the lineup will look like this.

Kyle Wiltjer

It's a very solid starting five, but there's very little off the bench that can be relied upon.

You are right. Nothing off the bench.

That is exactly what would happen, just like the last two years when Lamb moved to the point when Knight, or Teague went out of the game. That is why I think Jon Hood actually will play a key role next year for this team, he is probably going to get decent minutes since we have no other guards. If Hood was ever going to do anything, this will be the year he needs to at least help out some in.

Or could one or both of these kids reconsider now that it's official that all five underclassmen are gone? A quick look would see major minutes/opportunity for both with the lack of depth; and on a high profile, defending championship team?

It appears to me that UK may have to play some(maybe a lot of) zone next year. If they do, then some players who may be defensive liabilities in man to man will receive more minutes because they will be needed to contribute offensively.

Hood will need to contribute, as well as Cauley and Beckham if no one else comes aboard.

Cal playing a lot of zone? Maybe when Boeheim switches to man.

Wiltjer is probably the only defensive liability and hopefully they work with him extensively this offseason to get his footspeed up.

Man to man all the way with Noel hovering in the lane.

No doubt it's possible. I was just going off what seems to be the buzz around Bennett & Jefferson.
