Student Mural at Rhode Island High School Deemed Inappropriate...

Don't paint with too broad a brush. Depending on where you choose to raise a family, your best choices might be public schools. Also, you might find "stupidity at its finest" at a private school.

I'd gladly pay the tuition rather than have to deal with this crap all the time.

I went to private schools my whole life growing up. In this area, I have plenty of choices that are much better than any public schools.

I thought the same thing, but couldn't be happier w my boys' school. It's the community of the school not whether you pay to go there.

What exactly is the problem with inter-racial couples?

I took it as sarcasm.

I agree. I have kids in both camps. Love the private schools that 4 of my kids go to. Also thrilled with everything that the public schools offer to my 1 kid.

WONDERFUL school options here in NKY.

I'm sure that you will choose the best school. You just keep making it seem as though private schools are great and public schools aren't. In some cases, that's true, but certainly not always.

I'm entitled to my own opinion am I not?

Most people I've encountered that went to public schools are vastly unprepared for college and professional life compared to those that went to private schools, so yes, I do feel that private schools are VASTLY better than public schools.

Can we get a pole of BGP members who went to public schools?

Nothing at all. I am part of one. The joke was how many blended families there are today.

Can a lot of them be considered "families?" A family signifies an intent of permanence. A lot of these "blended families" are just temporary hook ups that unfortunately have kids involved.

America will not get back to where it should be economically and educationally until it rights itself socially. I don't care who marries who, but 2 parents have to be present. Most single parents do a fantastic job, but it is too heavy of a burden financially...in my humble opinion.
