Voice of Reason
Congrats to Coach McQueary on retiring. Arguably the most underrated coach in N. Ky. He did an excellent job at Boone County.
NEERFAN
He had a very nice five year run. Since Cooper became a region power the Rebels have dipped a bit. 16-14 1Rd Region 10-17 18-12 21-8 26-5 Finals Lost to Holmes (36-2) in Region Finals, 55-47 19-9 2nd Rd 21-11 2nd Rd 27-8 Sweet 16, lost to Knott County Central 71-54 in 1st Rd. 13-16 16-11 20-12 1st Rd 5-24 8-22 16-12 7-23 243-
Shooter2002
Does Ryan Bowman go back to coaching boys and leave his post as the girls coach to take this job?
Voice of Reason
Five years ago, this would have been a job almost every coach would have been interested in. Now, not so much. It is a big school so that will attract interest. They probably will end up with a young first time head coach versus an experienced coach. With all the uproar on teacher's pensions, I am not sure there is the incentive of moving from private to public any more either.

Colonels_Wear_Blue
Did Coach McQueary get another job or is he just retiring all together from the game? Retiring from coaching. He's staying on at Boone as a teacher.
