With Nashville up 3-1 with 5 minutes to go in the game and St. Louis in 4 on 3 advantage situation, the Blues pulled their goalie to get an extra attacker.

That was a huge mistake as Ryan Ellis got loose for an uncontested shot at an empty net and a short handed goal.

There were 12 penalties called in this one. No power play goals, though. Gaudreau, Foresberg, and Watson also with goals for the Preds.

The Preds are deep and they keep rolling without Arvidsson and Subban but they aren’t the same attacking team without them. If a team is built to handle 2 injuries like this, it’s Nashville.
