Boone County Championships

It was a marvelous evening for a track meet!

This was a combined Varsity and JV meet, though the results were kept separate.

Braden Bromwell of Walton Verona also threw 39-05 in the JV meet. His 2nd throw

was not as long as the overall winner so he got 2nd overall.

Thank you for the update @oldgrappler. A spring track meet at night is high on my list of favorite sporting events. :up:

Cooper swept the boys varsity and JV meets. Cooper's girls won on the varsity side, while Ryle captured the JV crown.

Some additional top performances from the meet:

Juliet McGregor (Ryle) set a PR in the girls 100M, in 12.38 and won the long jump.

Cooper's 4x200M Relay team turned in a nice 1:33.79.

Jake Chisolm (Ryle) won four events. In addition to the 100 and 200, Jake won the Long Jump and set a PR in the Triple jump with a NKY leading 42-8.5.

Juliet McGregor is a phenom. I didn't get to see many other events as I was helping out in the field events.
