Augusta 56 New Richmond (OH) 54

Augusta evens their record at 6-6 with a 19 point comeback victory over New Richmond at RUHL. Panthers trailed by 16 at the half, but defense turned the tide. Philpot led the Panthers with 17, with two big back to back 3's in the 3rd. Cordle hits winning bucket at the buzzer on a pass from a driving Austin Eichenberger who finishes with 5 points. Ripato 9, Mains 6, Appleman 5, Cordle 6, and White 4.

Augusta's only lead of the game came on the winning bucket. With 10 seconds and the score tied at 54, New Richmond turns it over and Augusta calls timeout with 4 secs and the fullcourt to go. Pass goes to Eichberger that drives the sideline and hits Cordle for the basket and well earned victory.

Congrats to the Panthers on the win. I really like Philpots game. He can really shoot it and seems to a very team oriented kid.
