Bert
1) Male High School (5-0, defeated Seneca 63-0) – No real surprise on this victory. Next week versus Butler should be a similar story. 2) Trinity High School (4-1, defeated by PRP 44-0) – The victory is not a surprise but the margin of victory is. PRP was playing well enough that many thought they should have been able to score on Trinity and prevent a few TD’s by Trinity. Next week versus Jeffersontown should be a pretty boring game. 3) St. Xavier High School (3-1, defeated by Highlands 37-6) – X gets back to winning by soundly beating Highlands. Next week is PRP which X should win. 4) DuPont Manual High School (4-0, Defeated Ballard 24-19) Nice victory over a decent Ballard. Next week against Western should be an easy victory. 5) Central (2-2, Idle) Central still basking in their victory over St. X. Next week is Waggener, should be heavily favored. 6) Fern Creek (4-1 Defeated DeSales 14-0) Welcome to the rankings Fern Creek with a nice win over DeSales and overall a good season. Next week should be an easy win over Fairdale. 7) St. Francis DeSales (4-1, Defeated by Fern Creek 14-0) – DeSales was playing incredible football till this past weekend. DeSales hopes to get back on the saddle this coming weekend against John Hardin 8) Pleasure Ridge Park (4-1, Defeated by Trinity 44-0) Bad loss for a pretty good PRP team. Won’t be much easier next week against St. X. 9) Elizabethtown (5-0, Defeated Bardstown 38-7) Etown just keeps winning. Next week they play Edmonson County who Etown should be favored to beat. 10) Spencer County (5-0, Defeated Bullitt Central 77-42) Never guessed BC would score 42 points on Spencer but when you score 77 I guess it doesn’t matter. Next week’s game versus Collins should have quite a bit less scoring. Big Riser(s) – Easy, Fern Creek. Big Dropper(s) – DeSales and Ballard Game of the Week – St. X versus PRP. Packers12
Bullitt Central QB is a stud. Pushing 1800 yds passing 15 TD/ 0 INT 67% completion rate, 300+ yds rushing 5 TDs. Never a doubt at all about that teams offense with him. Run defense for those guys is a different story. Obviously!!
Bert
I guess people agree with the ranking hence the lack of discussion?
