swamprat
Ka'ai Tom and JaVon Shelby hit back-to-back bombs in the fifth inning and Zach Logue worked 2.2 shutout innings in relief for the win, pacing Kentucky to a 5-3 win over Tennessee to sweep the Vols in a three-game series at home for the first time in program history, on a perfect Sunday afternoon at Cliff Hagan Stadium. Clyde
Can't figure this team out. Terrible mid-week. Pretty strong in conference play recently.
swamprat
Mid-week games are not conference games and are less important. Most college coaches save the cream of their pitching staff for the weekend conference games. Losing mid-week games generally is an indication of a lack of pitching depth. I'm aware of that but also remember that mid-week games are traditionally against lesser opponents.
