Newport Central Catholic "Baby Breds" off to great start.

The "Baby Breds" are off to a great start to the 2015 campaign under the direction of Head Coach Dan Hausfeld. The team is 6-0, including 4 victories on Saturday over Dixie and Glen Este. All these girls were members of last years 17-5 season and are a fun bunch to watch.

No, same girl, she pitches for all three teams. She is the JV starter and backs up the varsity starter when needed. She throws for the frosh team on occasion to get some work in. 8th grader Riley McDermott and 7th grader Brooke Bihl are the frosh pitchers. McDermott also throws JV.
