So far 19 points has been the high offensive out put for Greenup County , they should top that this week & keep it rolling with two victories in a row & possibly two shutouts in a row as well. Good luck to both squads.

Nice win for Greenup County, Lawrence County is shut out for the second straight game.

Lawrence County has had a week off,home field,& it appears that weather conditions should be in their favor tonight as Greenup County primarly throws the ball. After the way they were defeated their last outing this team should come out & play inspired football. Both teams have played tough schedules and have good players.I give edge to Lawrence County tonight & hope both squads have an injury free night & a lot of fun.

Coach Brown & his staff are doing a great job of coaching & winning with a group of young players. Great lesson for any team of what can happen if you never quit playing.

Any thoughts or predictions on this game. I ate crow last week predicting that Lawrence County would win against Rowan. They played well against a good looking team but that was last week. This should be a good contest @ East Carter.

Congratulations to Rowan County on their first district win under Coach ShaDon Brown. I really felt Lawrence had a good chance of winning this game . # 32 for Rowan is a heck of a player he is like trying to catch a chicken when gets out in space. Nice job of bouncing back after a tough loss @ Sheldon Clark last week.

You nailed it taters, they were completely dominated by Ashland up front Friday night. What the linemen didn`t get blocked the fullback #34 cleaned up.

Any update on the condition of the Sheldon Clark player that was taken off the field by stretcher?

This game was scheduled for a 4:00 Saturday then mutually agreed to be moved to 1:00.This should be a good match up if anyone would enjoy an afternoon of high school football in the Martin County area.

I am sorry to hear that & hope he has a speedy recovery. I knew there several out from the week before against Harlan Co. Iagree with B.B.& feel the Panthers will play better this week & have some positive things to build on .

Yes. This game is @ Powell Co. IMO that happened @ Rowan Co. a couple of weeks ago, they were overlooked.

Right On Shaft. Greenup got off to a slow start last season hats off to Coach Sammons got a few problems corrected & had a really nice run in the playoffs. I was proud of the way they represented themselves & their district .They do have some of those guys back & that experience to draw on. Rowan is young but they believe in Coach Brown.
