West Carter may hang in there for awhile but the Royals will get rollin' and pull away.

I don`t think Rowan County is good enough on defense to win. If Greenup County rushed for 500 yards Lawrence County may get 700. Rowan County better score plenty and are capable of scoring a bunch i think they will need every point that they can muster. Lawrence County is solid on defense that will be the difference maker.

If Greenup County will come out and play like they did last week and eliminate the penalties they have a great chance to win although the defense they face this week will be just a tad tougher than Rowan County . I don`t think the yardage will come as easy.

East Carter may be able to score some points against Rowan`s defense. They gave up a ton of yardage last game.

IMO Mason County validates their ranking and wins impressively at Russell.

Penalties are a killer especially a personal foul that is such a bad penalty for the team when a player for whatever reason loses his head and choses to committ one of that variety. They always seem to occur at the worst time giving your opponent a first down when have you worked so hard to get the ball back or stopping your teams momentum. Get your heads up you lost to a good football team that you took down to the wire. You have another opportunity coming up have a good week of practice and get prepared this week to win.

Sounds like the guys fought hard till the end which is always a positive learning experience . Sometimes a loss can turnout to be a victory for the rest of your season. Good luck the rest of the way !

IMO for Lewis County to have a chance to win this game they must hope for some sort of devine intervention. In the second half Mason County should have an opportunity to rest some of their starters and get the young guys some playing time. Good luck to both squads.

We pick a game somewhere and make an evening of high school football and a nice dinner.

At some point during the game I expect Raceland will the have opportunity to empty the bench. They should come out on top and get the youngsters some p.t. Being the classy program that they are will play alot of the guys if possible.

On the outside Hodge and Gilbert will aslo be a huge factor for their respective teams. It will come down to turnovers and the trenches as has already been noted. Both have plenty of offensive fire power should be a good one.

The Royals travel to Morehead this Friday to face the Vikings. This should be a good contest . Who do you like and why?

Rowan County travels to Irvine this week to face a ball controlling smash mouthing Estill County team. This will be Rowan`s third week in a row on the road . What is your opinion on this match up.
