  1. I will go with this also!
  2. Yes, I think it was a slight strain, he came back and finished the game on O only.
  3. Yes peaking, we played a better team tonight, however, if you know the program, you can see small improvements in areas we needed to work on.
  4. Good win New Cath! Great Display of sportsmanship at the end! I am thankful that we won't beat up on each other in a play off game, but can now each go on to our title runs. Keep your heads up Beechwood, we are peaking at just the right time. Louisville in December is our goal!!!!
  5. Beechwood vs Newcath, :fight:more than just a game!
  6. Beechwood has had this game circled since last year! Plus the bye week for extra help. Beechwood in a close one!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
  7. It will be electric, easy off and on the x-way, good burgers. Hope to see a good turn out! :thumb:
  8. Newcath at Beechwood, all out war! Beechwood looks at this like first round of the playoffs!
  9. The game would have never stayed close, Beechwood is best in the 4th quarter. Thats when their size and conditioning really becomes apparent. Bellevue played with great heart and never gave up. Are they returning many players next year?
  10. Nice win Beechwood, good to see the passing game get rolling! Thanks to Bellevue for being great host and all players for great sportsmanship.
  11. Can't we all just get along?
  12. Bring on the cool temps with the steam rising up from the huddle, maybe a nice hot bowl of chili right before the game...We made it!!!!!!!!
  13. I think you mis-understood the original intent. There are a couple of ways to take it!
  14. Oneijoe please thank all of the Prestonsburg faithful, it was a very nice day, food, facility and fireworks. You all were very gracious host, hope we see you again up north. Very classy program!
  15. Yes Cody started at QB but didn't play defense. tough kid!!!!!
  16. Understood, I think he still needs time, however, knowing Mike, his competitive nature sometimes takes over. This has to be very frustrating for him. Thanks for the back up Strike3!
  17. I really don't care about getting ripped, they can kill me but thet can't eat me! NO ONE can ever take away what Mike has done for high school sports or the kids that were lucky enough to have had him in their life.
  18. Okay, can all you nay sayers give it a break! I have known Mike for about 25 plus years, he like everyone on this forum lives chapters in their lifes. He has endured hours of depositions on law suits for matters on and off the field, related to some of his players. Once he had such a great coaching career going, then he had live up to the pressures of everyones expectations. He not only had the constant pressure of winning every week but, winning a champioship every year. He is probably one the the most humble people I know, he doesn't like all the praise and awards. I have had the honor of two of my children having him as a teacher and one a coach. If you ever really watched Mike you could tell he really loves kids, thats why Beechwood football did as well as it did. Mike didn't always have the fastest, biggest or talented kids play for him, however, he could always get average players to play above their ability and get great players involved in leadership. Why did kids feel like they wanted to buy into this, they knew he loved them and cared about them. I can only imagine the numbers of times kids maybe remember something that he taught them, not about football but life or pride. He is in a chapter in his life that is equally difficult, aren't we all at some point in our lives? Please understand we all don't have all the answers especially me, but please just give him a pass for a while, he will be back someday, but not with undue pressures from others. We are all Americans, BGPers and sports fans, it time to stand behind someone instead of doubting them. Good Luck Mike!
  19. However with that said, I hate it when an offical says, "if you think you can do better". YOU ARE GETTING PAID, if you want to do it, then do it, but just because I have no desire to officiate does not do away with my right to voice my opinion on the job you signed up for and are getting paid to do. Very well put!:thumb:
  20. Great, we just finished a grueling game of 11 on 16!
  21. Yes, Dominic is the real deal! He has all the size, talent and a great understanding of the game. He also has been to my house and is truly a great kid. It is refreshing to see someone have all these things and be humble. Good Luck Dom, you have a great future ahead of you, I am glad your a red and white tiger!
