Both teams coming off wins. Beechwood a little banged up.

Can Holy Cross finally put together a complete game and knock off Beechwood?

HC will have to play almost perfect to pull this one off, but this is a team that is improving.

Who all is hurt for B'Wood ? Did Elliott play tonight ?

Yes, Elliott played, through a 70 yard TD and 1 interception that can be debated if it was caught of not.

Elliott will play and be 100% against HC. He played about 80% today if that. HC will have to play a perfect game to win.

Beechwood 56 Holy Cross 10

With Teipel playing well, showing speed and determination, combined with Elliott at 100%, Holy Cross will have to play the game of there lives with absolutely no mistakes whatsoever. Which I doubt will happen. Beechwood is pumped up and will roll over Holy Cross with ease IF they come out and have a good first quarter.

This thread needs a poll!!
Done

With Beechwood star RB out Teipel wont be able to carry the load two weeks in a row.. Expect this to be a close game.. HC 21-17

Tiepel is tough durable RB, IMO the "star" status of the injured running back is in question, Tiepel is more than capable of stringing more than one game together. If my memory serves me right, he ran all over HC, after NCC last year when the "star" was hurt.

Agree, Tiepel will be fine. On any other team, except Boone, he would be the featured back.

Crush, why the animosity towards #4. Not playing right now is eating him alive. He has gone thru alot in the last yr if I understand right. Surgery last yr to end his yr and now another surgery. Give the kid a break.:irked:

Beechwood 35 HC 7

I think B-Wood wears them down in the 2nd half.

Not down on Tommy B at all, just saying with the weight he is carrying this year he has lost a step , and is not hitting the hole as fast as Tiepel. Time for a "thunder and lightning" backfield Bankempers power and Tiepels speed. No animosity at all, been a big #4 fan since youth football.

Gotcha, just misunderstood what you were trying to say.
