IMO there is no doubt the best 6th man, is Newport Wildcat's Brandon Tucker. He's a winner, he always has been one of the best true shooters, he can jump out of the gym, block shots and he can really get after you on Defense, agressively!! I forgot his ability to dribble, he can break a press and pass the ball like a big time player. A matter fact he may be one of the best complete overall players in the 9th Region!! Maybe being the 6th man, makes him strive harder to be better. Anyone else have any candidates or does everyone that knows this youngman agree??

Congrats to Coach Russell and the Wildcats, what a big win for the players and the program in general. To see the boys play with such grace and to exploit their talents as they did, it was there excelent shooting, teamwork, jumping ability and there ability to keep their composure in pressure situations. It was great to see the fan and student following, this a reflection of school spirit and the great job that the Athletic Director Nick Rice has done. Great season for the Ryle Raiders and good luck to the Newport Wildcats!! You play like you did tonight, and you might just win the 9th Region

Eddie Eviston is the best candidate for the job. Look at his resume, a New Cath graduate, was a three sport standout athlete. Recieved ''That's my boy award''. Earned a Scholarship to Georgetown Ky, where he Quarterbacked three (NAIA) National Championships teams and was also named ''National Player of the year" award 2 years in a row. Drafted by the KC City Chiefs. Went to the Arena football league won a championship in that league. I had even heard that he QB 4 undefeated superbowl championship teams when he played youth football in ''NKYFL'', for the Firefighters and was inducted into the NKYFL Hall of fame. Needless to say he may know a little about the game. First class individual, excellent Role model and has a good repore with the players. Good luck Thoroughbreds! I hope he's the next in line!

It seems the Wildcats have put a competitive team together this year. I was just wondering if anyone had any insight on their new players? I know the one player, I think his name is Demarco Foster good player seems like a real nice young man. The other boy dressed the NCC game but I heard he was just cleared to play friday night. I know he's 6'6 and can shoot the lights out of it. Good luck to the Cats!

No matter how good you are, it always takes a little luck to win champion ships. ( Either luck of the draw, hpme field advantage, or playing teams that they match up with well.

Should be a great game for both teams, to make it this far in the state playoffs. What an accomplishment. CONGRATS! To Pulaski County, They beat some good teamsto get this far. But this will be a learning expierence for everyone coming to the game, Coaches, players, cheerleaders and fans. I'M SURE PC will be ready and there will be plenty of good football action. But when you leave the stadium, you will know why Fort Thomas Highlands Bluebirds are the best team and program in the state, its just flat out unbelievable the atmosphere the positive environment the class and sportsmanship you will see and witness. Can anyone come up with a better Linebacker core than the ''NASTY'S''? If so, I like to here about them. Quick, fast, hard hitting tough against the run and the pass. They try to take your head off and then quick to lend a hand to help you up off the turf. Kind of like football being played smooth and gracefully. Like Swanlake!

The nastys are the interior defensive linebackers for the Highlands Bluebirds. #19 Brandon Roller, #4 Travis Alford, and #45 Brendon Sullivan. These boys are really fun to watch and they play the game the way it's supposed to be played -- aggressively, physically and with a sense of grace. Kind of like Butkus or Singletary. Ask anyone that played against them this year.

The Bluebirds really look good in all aspects of the game. But thier ''killer bee'' defense is so intense, it's really scary. Especially once the hitting begins. If #19 (Roller) doesn't get a hold of you, here comes #45 (Sullivan), or #5 (Abner) or #27 (Bruns) and #4 (Travis Alford). At different times it seems as if there are two number #4's out there. The kid is all over the field. These boys are really fun to watch; maybe one of the best defense's Northern KY has ever seen. Good luck!

Look for a real physical football game. Remember Johnson Central will have to face the ''NASTY'S'' ,thats actually the Linebacker core for the Bluebirds, probly the best in the state! good luck both teams

The Birds were lucky to get out of there last year with a win. JC has a great program. They also have a great o-line and some hard nose running backs, #1 the taillback is a state champion wrestler. Their game plan will be to control the ball and to keep the ball away from the Birds offense. Then when they lull you to sleep with that power offense, here comes the pass. The Birds offense will really have to mix it up, and then everyone throughout the state is going to see how disciplined and physical the ''Nasty's'' and the rest of the Mean Birds really are. #27 The younger brother, He's one of the better DB'S, that I've seen in a while

Two of the top tacklers on one of the best defense's in the NATION! There are a couple of other players that are pretty impressive on the stingy Bluebird "D". #8 Abner. #27 Bruns,#1 and #69 and #4 Travis Alford, this kid can flat out play the game, Alford might be the most under estimated player in N ky.
