Wow thats awesome way to go Cats. Im really happy for Coach Russell to get the big win.

Two classy team that played until the final buzzer. Hated to see one lose. Being a DHS parent makes makes me happy the public school drought is over. Shaun Meyer and Cody Collins were awesome in this game. You knew what you were gonna get from the stars but these guys made big plays at the end.

They will have a winnable first round game against either DeSales or Shawnee. The second round game, against either Brossart or Hazard should be a little tougher. But Newport is definitely capable of making noise next week in Richmond.

I agree, I think they can advance to the finals if they play sound basketball and good defense.

Seen both teams play and IMO Brossart is much better unless Hazard had some players missing in late December.
