I'll give the edge to Carroll, I don't think it will be a blow-out...24-16 Panthers...

I don't think Henry shuts out Eminence, however I think it will be a fairly easy victory for Henry County...

30-40 Players out of 125 students...SUPER job...I certainly hope GC gets to that point...25% (+/-) of the enrollment is quite an accomplishment! As for Florence not playing early...I was told that he missed a practice or only practiced without pads last week...a bit of an injury?...Nonetheless, Bryce earned the spot...I do believe he played well, Florence has a couple of years experience and seemed to be more confident right now...Carlton can do the job, he just needs to know he is the man... Keep up the good work CATS...Eminence may be your first round play-off game...get the win in the post season!

First, Congratulations to Eminence... Gallatin did not play well until the end of he third quarter, at that point it was too late! I think Gallatin is just a few players short, last night when they would go from offense to defense, maybe 1 or 2 player would leave the field... I am not sure what the enrollment @ Eminence is, however they had Gallatin out numbered, what looked like 2 to 1...hats off to them... Onward CATS, Cooper is coming to town Friday Night...get ready!

Congratulations to the CATS! A little stressful the first half for both teams, 0-0...nonetheless, I am not sure why Gallatin punted on third down on their first possession...anyone else have an idea...looked to me like GC was out of sncy early on...On to the next game...GO CATS!

With out disrespect to WV, Carroll should win easily...Walton may be better than I think, however...I say Carroll by 21...

After the drumming in Frankfort last week, I hope Gallatin will shake off the dust and get on track...1st home game this year (the last home game was vs. Trimble)...I will take the CATS 21-13...

Last night Frankfort had 48 or 49 points early in the third quarter..the clock did not run...made for a miserable experience for Gallatin fans trapped in the mini stands...Frankfort did what they do, won and won big! I am not complaining about the score...only wish GC was the 60!

Frankfort has got to be the best in the District! I saw first hand last night, FHS has a lot of kids dressing and from my past history playing @ Paris High School...FHS has tons of tradition! Gallatin on the other hand is very young in experience! Only three years in so they should evolve...I hope they rebound from last nights pounding! Trimle is coming to OUR HOUSE this week...should be a good game. As for the rest...time will tell..

What is the rule? Is there a mercy rule in KHSAA for Football? After sitting through a drumming from Frankfort last night, I would think the option for a running clock in the second half would exist...Thanks in advance for off of your information!

Gallatin played much better...defense had several tackles for loss...Mason McCarty, Jack Wirght, Justin Rowland, Nate Brown, etc...Great job Defense! Shawn Williamson had a couple a great plays as well, a reverse that left Owen looking from a distance...Gallatin played more like the team we expected to see this year...Congrats to the CATS!

I am not sure how much Owen has improved this year...they have talented kids and I am sure the coaching staff is a hard at work tyring to right that ship...I take my CATS 27-13... Good luck to both teams...same as my Carroll post...sportsmanship...respect one another, play hard and represent your school!!

As a GC dad, congrats to Carroll! Gallatin did not play as well as I expected and Carroll played much better...I will give the kids from Carroll credit...I wish Gallatin's student enrollment had their commitment...42 players on the field is quite the accomplishment... Nonetheless, Gallatin should hold thier heads high, if we can get the turnovers and penalties under control...we have a bright future! As for the question about Carlton playing or not...Bryce Carlton did play and had a great game, Jared is not on the team...that is of now...I am not sure if he will rejoin the team in the future... Once again, congrats to Carroll...GC...Focus on OWEN!!...Carroll is history, nothing you can do to change that...

It is a shame that a player with his ability cannot get it together...Jared is a good kid, just has a temper beyond control...I hope he sees the light and can get back on the team...if not...time for someone else to step it up! GO CATS!

:confused:? I doubt that. With Gallatin in week two, Ii would half to say Gallating over Owen....easily!

I would say commitment...I understand spring practice did not go well...a few days only 1 or 2 kids were there...I know that most of the baseball team play football as well...several of the players that do not play baseball were not present...I can only hope the reason for not being at spring practice was study hall!

My son played Optimist League Football with Jordan Whiting...they are still close friends, not only is he a great athlete...he is a GREAT kid! I am not OSU fan, but will follow the Buckeyes closley in 2010 and beyond...

I heard that Walton's Girls B-Ball coach resigned...not sure if it is true or not...

If I understood correctly, Mr. Boucher did not want Coldiron to work this year...he has been there 5 years in a row...not sure why that is, looks like to me you would want the BEST you can get...but once again he did not ask me! Good luck to all of the Official's going to the dance, I am sure you all earned it...
