Say that North had opted to change back into their own jerseys. Would they have received a technical for each jersey violation, as that player checked in at the scorers' table?

Yes, one per starter, and then another one for every player that entered the game for the first time.

I was told be an official once that there could only be one scorebook technical per team per game....thought that seemed wrong.

I do believe there would only be 1 technical for the incorrect number's...that is per team!

The answer is one technical per team regardless of how many violations. NFHS 3.2.2.

You are correct in that one technical is assessed and get the numbers corrected. All the numbers. Start the game with 2 free throws and the ball for a half court throw in and don`t look back.

Always, Always take BOTH uniforms to a tournament! Just in case.

Although a relatively "newer" school, I don't think this was NO's first trip to the region. I think they made it two years ago, in the same situation, as district champs. So, in addition to what should have been said at the regional meeting, you'd think they'd have some past experience to fall back upon.
