I got there after the first quarter, in which I heard Euton had 14 of his 25. Darius Miller looked great, even looked like he improved a lot from last year. Jackson really impressed me more than Euton. Jackson imo has more upside. Mason looked really good though.

Darius is a lot better. On Rivals it says he has a lot of "upside". Maybe they think that he will get a lot better in college than he was/is in high school.

Good to see St. Pat at number 6. Coach Henson really thinks they can win the All-A tournament.

St. Pat had 3 girls in the top 100 I think, with one coming in 27th I do believe. For a very small school to have even one good runner is good, but we have three, so that is really good.

I got Trinity in this one.

It was very odd. They played two 15-minute periods, then half-time, the another 10-minute period. And they cleared the score after each period. I was at the St. Pat game and, just like the game before when Deming played, at half time they played a JV 10 minute period.

Setty and Miller are not THAT good to be mentioned in the top 26.

St. Pat forced about 25 turnovers with their hawking defense. Everyone contributed the entire game. Great overal for the Saints. They are primed for a good year.

Hinson is getting his guys in shape at St. Pat. Owens is looking good too, as is Anderson.

I know that, I didn't say that Agusta was bad, they did after all make it to the region the past 2 years.

St. Patrick still has Chris Owens and Nick Anderson from the starters last year, but they lost Englert, Yeary, Newton, Cunningham, and Klee. They will be BETTER this year I think. Stephen Mason is a real force to handle. And Owens and Anderson are both very athletic players and very very good players. I predict maybe 1 or 2 games above .500 and a chance to make it to the region. The last 2 years they have had GOLDEN opportunities, playing Agusta in both games, not saying Agusta is bad, but 2 years ago, Mason was Mason, and they were playing in Bracken's gym, so Augsta was their best bet. Last year, either Agusta or Bracken would have been decent, because Mason was Mason again. Agusta was the better pick because they won 1 out of 3 games against Bracken and 2 out of 2 agaisnt Agusta. If they do not draw Mason this year in the District, I think they will go to the region.

This will be a great game.

Mason County is REALLY good as a team.

Bracken last year sat their "starters" and played the younger kids on the JV team and they gave Mason a run in that game in the district last year. The 39th is pretty even this year with Mason losing a lot, Bracken gaining some, and St. Pat losing some of the seniors, but they have some decent to good young players coming up, along with Chris Owens, Nick Anderson, and Jon Stwarka.

St. Pat might do something with Nick Anderson being one of the best catchers in the region, but they will have a very young team.

Welcome! And I agree, The saints will be up in the air, only 1 senior, and have the 2 good sophomores of the Payne sisters. They will make some noise I think.

Well, these were two electirc games, the fans in the stands were phenominal, standing cheering like it was the finals of the state tournament. Congradulations to the Royals, they just have more power than the Saints. The 5-3 game, Mason hit 3 homeruns, and in the Distric Final 6-4 game, they hit 1, the Saints didn't hit a single homerun. But it seemed like the Royals couldn't get through the hitting line-up of Stwarka, Englert, Anderson, Owens, and Chamberlain. But after that, the Royals didn't give up much more.

Great loss for the family and Mason County. My heart goes out to the family.

Not the best game the Saints have played this year, but Chamberlain came through in the clutch.
