2007/2008 St. Patrick

What does St. Patrick need to do to improve in 2007/2008? What do they need to keep doing to be successful? Remember, please be constructive.

St. Patrick still has Chris Owens and Nick Anderson from the starters last year, but they lost Englert, Yeary, Newton, Cunningham, and Klee. They will be BETTER this year I think. Stephen Mason is a real force to handle. And Owens and Anderson are both very athletic players and very very good players. I predict maybe 1 or 2 games above .500 and a chance to make it to the region. The last 2 years they have had GOLDEN opportunities, playing Agusta in both games, not saying Agusta is bad, but 2 years ago, Mason was Mason, and they were playing in Bracken's gym, so Augsta was their best bet. Last year, either Agusta or Bracken would have been decent, because Mason was Mason again. Agusta was the better pick because they won 1 out of 3 games against Bracken and 2 out of 2 agaisnt Agusta. If they do not draw Mason this year in the District, I think they will go to the region.

A lot of people in Maysville thought that the past 2 years..

Dont get ahead of yourself, Augusta isn't too bad themselves!

Agree with ya URIT, but overall, it depends on the draw for the district and what team shows up to play.

I know that, I didn't say that Agusta was bad, they did after all make it to the region the past 2 years.

I for one would like to see another St. Pat -Augusta matchup in the district tourny.

St. Pat should have a great year...better than just a couple over .500 (check the schedule) It looks like a fun year for the school, town, students this year...by the way Nick Anderson without a doubt in my mind should be a top 10 player in the region. I was very surprised to see that he wasn't especially when i saw the name Pelle appear. I recall Mr. Anderson tearing Mr. Pelle to pieces during JV ball.

Watch out for there slow pace offense! Coach Hinson likes to "MILK" the clock ;) Anderson and Owens are both exceptional ball players and will hopefully give the patties another regional apperance.

Hinson knows strategy...and i dont think you understand the play calling as much as you think...Owens and Anderson. Exceptional? hmmmm...
