There becomes something scary about a team that has lost four games in a row, they sometimes begin playing like there is nothing to lose! How many upsets have you seen where the underdog just ran every play in the book because a mistake is no big deal when you have nothing to prove and a terrible record. I will pick GRC for this reason. They are due and maybe they will let it all go and play with reckless abandon. What have you got to lose at 0-4.This team has the talent to play with anyone, and maybe, just maybe the sleeping giant will awaken.

Realistically folks Clark County needs desperate changes. The talent is there as it always is. Some attitudes need to be seriously changed or the disruptions need to be done away with period. The coaching staff needs to look at the group assembled on the sidelines every Friday( I counted 17 assistants last Friday!) and ask what are they doing to make this team better and if nothing they can think of, get in the stands and cheer. Too many cooks ruin the stew. Coach Columbia needs to look at his program and realize these are kids futures he is messing with. If there doesn't seem to be any success year after year and the same mistakes seem to be reacurring, maybe these kids aren't being coached well at all. Be brave enough to be honest that is all .Know your limitations and be brave enough to admit weakness. To the seniors, pick it up several notches. The desire to win is infectious. Two or three strong leaders are out there they just need to tell some to put up or shut up. Do your job or get off the field. I saw one senior who if he wasn,t running the ball he just stood there and watched the play! That is unacceptable. Block son or sit down! I don't mean to ramble but this was the year we should have made some noise that could be heard all over the state. You seniors know how to win , that is all you have ever done. Get with it boys it is never too late until the last whistle of the last game.

It would have been nice to see Jaren Thomas pulling in a long well thrown bomb headed toward the end zone! That boy can catch anything within five yards of him.

Brother that ain't the half of it. Been that way for some time now. Play calling and ball control haven't been seen at GRC for several years. We had Tates Creek down a touchdown last week with three minutes left and couldn't run the clock out! The really sad part is this class of seniors is probably the most talented in several years! Something has got to give.

No the last few plays the clock would start as the ball was snapped. The head official seemed to notice but took no action.

your talking fourth quarter and the time I am referring to is the end of the first half when the Admirals scored the first time. The clock did not start on the referees whistle but on the snap causing extra few seconds as time was running out in the second half. No accusation just a small glitch in a well officiated game against a very sportsman like team. Saw Danville players helping up GRC players several times and was impressed with their obvious discipline which speaks well of the coaches. Class act all the way.

If not for the clock not running until the ball was snapped as Danville drove down the field at the end of the second half it should have been GRC 12 Danville 06. Happened the entire drive and the Admirals scored with 6 seconds left on the clock. Frustrating evening to say the least! Cards gave the game away by not capitalizing on some obvious situations inside the ten yard line. Fourth and goal with inches to go, you have been running the ball all night effectively and you PASS what the heck is that. Good team in Danville. Well coached and the team obviously taught class and how to play like young men. Cards better find some miracles soon or 0 -10 will be a legacy for some seniors who deserve much better.

O.K its been hinted to on several threads and with some of the records from usually good teams this year it appears as there is some struggling going on to win games. The gap between great teams and average teams is growing. My question is, when does a school, community, or school board make the decision to pull the plug on a coach and look elsewhere. It seems that mediocraty is acceptable in highschool football. The team I root for is coached by a school administrator and I doubt he will be replaced anytime soon. IMHO he needs to be due to his lack of any signs of improving the program over the ten years or so he has been coach. So what say you BGP'ers how and when is enough, enough, and how does a regular fan make his thoughts known?

GRC Tates Creek game was hard to sit through it was so bad on both teams part. Don't see Tates Creek even getting close in this one, Central by 20 +.

Too bad Clark County picked this year to fall apart, IMO one of the most talented group to play in a few years. I wish the players weren't blamed for all the problems. Seems like every time I read the paper the story is negative towards the kids and it seems like the coaching staff should shoulder most of the blame. As far as the game at Danville, probably a less than perfect Danville team versus a struggling Clark team. The winner is anybodies guess but I will go out on a limb and say Clark by 10.:cry:

Dougie Mason is lookin very good at the QB position for GRC. He had an alright season last year seems like he has everything togather this year.
