devoutbballfan went on in another thread about teams not getting a fair shake when they played at Deming. Doing some research 90% of their post are on or about Bracken Co. threads. So my question to them tonight is who's fault is it that Deming one this game. Because I know that they would definitely not say that Deming may actually be the better team. Two out of three in 2007. I went back and looked on the KHSAA site and Deming took 2 of 2 in 2005, 1 0f 3 in 2006, and 2 of 3 this year. So ove the last three years Deming is 5-3 against Bracken. It looks to me that it is only going to get worse over the next couple years.

I have one question about the new NKU gym. I know that NKU is in Campbell Co. and that there are some Campbell Co. schools in the region. However, dosen't the campus technically set in the Ft. Thomas Highlands school district? Which is part of the 9th region. Would this cause a problem as it is not technically in a 10th region school district? I am wondering how that would work.

I agree. Will be young and take some bumps. But this will give them experience for future years.

I would say this was Senior Night because this was originally scheduled as the last home game. The Brossart game was to have been played on Tuesday. But was rescheduled because of the weather.

From what I read in the Hearld preseason preview. Berea lost something like 8 or 9 Seniors off a very good last season. Plus, Mike Key left for Erlanger. This is a major rebuilding season for the Pirates.

I agree with you they all have been fun to watch. I wish them all Luck down the road. Also, agree with your assumption for next year. Deming will not be bad but replacing Massey will be a task. Bracken on the other hand will have a tough road ahead next year.

Seems like this happens to teams every year. Being off a week and a half could really hurt a team at this point in the season. It seems to me that these Holiday tournaments are the cause. Teams need to do a better job of counting their games so this does not happen. If I were a coach I think I would rather have my team playing next week instead of having practice.

I understand your complaint. From what I've been told by some AD's is the number of prime time games is the killer. Prime time is considered Friday and Saturday games. These are usually the big money games for the boys but when you have to make sure girls get their equal shot at those days it causes a conflict.

Try scheduling and see what happens. If you want to comply with Title IX this is going to happen on some occasions during the season.
