I thought he did play baseball last year in the OF and at one time he was a pitcher, confused as oldercoach on this one, must be my age.

This hurts PC if they're not playing in mud. First they're cancelling schools over predicted snow that never comes and now football. I can understand baseball but football is a test for both teams in the elements. They practice in rain, as long as it's not lightning. Can't they at least wait till Friday morning to make this decision? The weathermen in this area haven't gotten anything right in summer or winter for years now

Ludlow may be the best team they play all year, but think Pendleton,Brossart,Paris and Nicholas now all pose challenges after the loss to Ludlow. I thought the returning offensive pieces and additions could logically produce an undefeated regular season and predicted so, so was not only disappointed by the loss to Ludlow, but thought that offense had the potential to put a running clock on a team like Switzerland County. I got Pendleton County's run defense winning Friday in a potential mud bowl at Brooksville.

Isn't Alexander a vital member of the FC basketball team as well?

Bracken has always had trouble stopping that one athlete on any given team. Have heard that Pendleton County has a more than adequate run defense which is BC's bread and butter. If this Baker kid is as good as advertised on the offensive end, I got PC coming to Brooksville and getting the victory

Dawgs, you mentioned on a PC thread awhile ago that Pendleton may be without a player, who may be one of their best players for the season(I believe). Is he playing?

I just wish they would have seating on both sides of the field. Always like sitting where there is the least amount of people so can focus on the game.

LAST year in Class 1A,District 5, Nicholas County was the measuring stick, so yes you did miss something Nathaniel.

And with that record(which I agree with), I think they can pick up a home playoff win as well. The Brossart game at home will be their game of the year. I looked at Paris' roster and didn't recognize any names from last year on the offensive side of the ball, maybe some one can fill us in on who they have back that played varsity last year

I don't think Bracken has any trouble with Paris in Brooksville this year. Didn't they beat a better than this year Paris team in Paris last year, I forget?

Looking at their schedule and what those teams have coming back, I don't see them losing a game. Brossart may be the only threat to keep them from going undefeated. Didn't both Nicholas and Paris lose a significant amount of starters from last season?

By the description of the action of the scrimmage in the Maysville Ledger Independent, Coach Brausch's son had at least one TD pass in the game, so would assume he has taken over for last year's QB Trey Deaton . Bracken County is one of a handful of schools in the State that has yet to turn in a roster to the KHSAA, so its hard to tell who is playing where, what number they wear,etc., hope they get this straightened out

2018 team has pieces, but major rebuild for the incoming Coach after losing almost all starters to graduation. Scooter, great guy and Coach will be missed in Brooksville

From my experience of helping out with coaching in elementary and middle over the years, if the Mom is 5'8-5'9 or taller the kid will be at least 6'2ish. It's all about the Mom when it comes to height. If you want a tall son and your only 6'0, you better marry tall or 5'8-5'10 is all the taller the boy is gonna get. You can book that

Wonder if they will dip into the ex-player well again and consider Katelyn Meyer(assistant girls basketball coach) for the position. I believe she is a teacher in the middle school which tends to play a huge role in the hiring process. The only other candidates i see as possibilites would probably be semi-local and come out of the Pendleton County,Campbell County,etc. school systems

I still can't bring myself to believe that those 4 people pictured could have pulled off such a calculated,professional-type hit as this appeared to have been. Now if they hired someone....
