Agree with what you are saying Mr. Athletics on both accounts. Walton has been very fortunate in the past 3-4 years to have some talent move in. They will be hard to handle come tournament time and would not surprise me if they make the trip to Bowling Green.

Gallatin has the size to match up with Walton, but Walton at home is going to be tough. An upset is possible, but look for Walton to win this one going away.

Walton has to be heavy favorites in this one. They have too many weapons and have been playing very well lately. Williamstown has to pick their poison on who they will try to stop, the post players of Walton or their guards, who have been playing very well as of late. Dixon, Judy and Sandlin will be a handful for the small Lady Demons down low. Guarding them will be a huge task for the Lady Demons. I do agree, Williamstown wont go down without a fight and will play hard and did play Simon Kenton down to the wire earlier this year. Could make for an interesting game.

Impressive win especially withouy Hill. Looks like Gallatin's 2 guards lit it up. Holding Devine to 20 is another impressive stat. She is a scoring machine from anywhere on the floor. Congrats to the Ladycats

Looks that way, but thier 4 wins are against teams that have a combined 1 - 21 record. Too early to tell how good they will be.

I agree Mr. A. If Walton is overlooking Owen County, then it could be a long night and week for the Walton bunch.

Boone's defense must have been very good to hold both of them scoreless. I had heard Taulbee was going to give Walton some much needed guard play and that Judy was healthy and had really improved over the summer.

Did Taulbee or Judy play? I did not see their names in the scoring column.

Ouch. No more predictions for me. Dixon showed why she is not only Walton's best player but is in the running for POY in the 8th Region.

Boone graduated 2 or 3 nice players and will take time for current players to develop into their roles. Walton returns everyone and is also benifitting from another transfer in Taulbee. Moss is the real deal, but I think Walton has the best team right now. With that said, I think Walton wins somewhere in the 5 - 7 point range.

I haven't seen Taulbee play, but I can't see her being better than Dixon or Sandlin. I look for both of them to battle it out this year on leading WV in scoring and rebounding. If Taulbee is as good as advertised, then Walton will win. I predict WV 51-47. .

Regardless of the other teams records, WV still had to beat some good teams on your list. Carroll, Owen and Gallatin took turns beating up on each other in their district and were formidible opponents as was Simon Kenton, Owsley Co. and North Oldham.
