Romes is a junior and will be a varsity starter. I agree that Alex Hall very well could be the regions leading scorer.

The transfer from North College Hill should lead the team in scoring.

Giwa is one of the best ball handlers in the region and can go to the basket better than most guards.

Beechwood also has a nice Junior transfer from North College Hill.

Alex Hall is easily one of the top guards in the 9th.

Beechwood should cruise through D3

9th region basketball star Alex Hall from Beechwood High School just broke the National AAU tournament record with 11 three-pointers in one game against a team from North Carolina. I dont know how many points he ended up with but it was alot. There was numerous college coaches in attendance for that game.

Shining Stars won by 25 over HLB and The Truth beat Urban Streets in the 17U

NKy Shining Stars should be one of the favorites to win the 17U bracket.

Shumate is a very good hire for Beechwood. This very well could be one of their most talented teams ever this year. They should dominate the D-3 conference and should compete for the all "a" as they did a couple years ago.

The 17U Shining Stars are doing very well. Some of their players are being looked at by numerous D-1 schools due to their play in the King James Akron Tournament. They will be in Fort Wayne for the Spiece tourney this weekend.

The game will be played next monday, the time and place is unknown.

Dawgs by 10-15. They are going to be a very tough out in the tourney.

Arrez will get many major college looks on his NKY shining stars team over the aau season.

CCH could be worn down from a battle with HHS last night and it seems like Holmes never gets tired. I will say Holmes 67-59

Congrats to Llyod on a great season and it seems like they played St. Henry pretty tough.

Henderson proved that even this year he is one of the top players in the 9th region.
