After nearly 120 votes, this poll is dead even. Hopefully this is an indication of how the game will play out tonight. It's a good night for football in Atown! Good luck to both teams and hopefully this will be an injury free game. Also to the Maysville people, have a safe trip to and from Ashland, and don't forget to come a little early and spend your dollars at our local restaurants and businesses!

Surely none of these games will be sellouts, will they? Im not sure what Veterans Memorial seats, but I think the Cam holds almost 10,000. While I don't think any of these games will be 'standing room only' HHS will most likely outdraw Marshall in their own arena.

Also, all HHS home games, other than the two at Cam Henderson have been moved to Veterans Memorial Fieldhouse.

There was an article in the ADI today explaining the game being cancelled, also mentions the schedule being filled with the RH game on Jan 23rd. Huntington High will play at least two nationally televised games this season, at the Cam Henderson Center. The rest of their home games have been moved to Veterans Memorial Fieldhouse. Your entitled to your opinion. But honestly, Russell hasn't played anyone in recent weeks that was really capable of hanging with them, with the exception of maybe Fleming.

Probably whichever one has the easiest road, they're both pretty evenly matched teams. :thumb:

I dont think it's that at all, yes, it may have a lot to do with the gate, but trust me, the Ashland School district is not hurting for money, by any means. They usually have around a $30 million dollar budget to work with.

Of course there is the usual misprint, like the difference between 2A and 3A. :lol: But otherwise it's pretty much on point.

Congrats to the JC team, and some of you fans. I was unable to watch or listen to the game last night but it sounds like JC dominated about every aspect of it. GL to you the rest of the season, until we meet again at least.

They would have to rent the gym from Boyd. Boyd would win, everyone else loses. Besides, it's not like this game would be a tourney game, like districts are. We are no longer in the "OJ Era" either, so it won't be the 'hyped up' game that it was back then. I see no reason either school couldn't play this game on their home floor.

I dont really understand what difference it makes whether they play or not? They didn't play last year during the regular season, so why do all the RH people 'expect' them to this year? I can't really understand why some schools almost outright demand other schools to play them. If a school decides not to play another school, for whatever reason, why can't people just respect it and move on? :confused:
