UK has also pulled Henry Minor's scholarship at this time. It looks as though UK is trying to get back under the scholarship limit. Recruiting for UK this season is likely done, at this point in time. Unless they decide to offer Rashad Mason, a 4 star reciever who cancelled a visit with LSU in exchange for a visit with UK today. Currently there is no offer on the table though.

He did play, scored 36, and yes, Tubby was watching. :sssh: :thumb: Expect UK to offer Pettigrew soon. I have heard that Moses visit has been cancelled and UK is pursuing other recruits.

:thumb: As for Tubby, I don't think he would last long in the NBA. He's a control freak, and you don't have much control over your players in the league.

Hobbs remains an assistant at UK because he's not cut out to be a head coach. He spent most of his career as an assistant and inherited a head coaching job at Bama. After winning only 60% of his games there, he resigned. He is a defensive genius, but a head coach he is not. Pelphrey and Travis are also young coaches, trying to better their career. Hobbs is in his 50's. That's debatable.

A lot of schools get 5 star recruits, but they usually don't come in and contribute right away. Besides, jury is still out on the MLB anyway, figuratively and literally. Your still setting yourself up for a letdown, in my opinion.

If you keep your expectations of these freshmen so high, your undoubtedly setting yourself up for a major letdown, UK fans did it last season with Micah. He was the #2 ranked player at his position, but that doesn't mean much once you put that player up against kids that have been playing in a BCS conference for 4 years. I think the UL kids will be great in time, as will Micah, but don't expect a night and day difference in your defense from day one.

Actually, I was one of the few people that said I didn't want UK in the top 25 at this point in time, so your a little off base there. Second, the Vandy loss was kinda expected by me, and Tubby appearently. I also said UK would drop one game this year to Georgia, whether it be at Rupp or down there. So no, Im not mad about the two losses at all. Although a lot of people act like the world is coming to an end, I think this is where UK will start their next run. Losing only once more in the regular season, to Florida. As far as me hating Duke. That's not really true either. I will say that I hate the bias that surrounds the school, but that's as far as it goes for me. And Last, I could sit and think of ways to make UK a better team until Im blue in the face. But alas, Im not the one in charge so it would be a moot point.

What a lot of you UL fans don't seem to realize. Is that the UK team that lost to the Cards by 31, the first game of the season, is not the same UK team that beat Clemson in the bowl game. You can keep saying UK doesn't have a chance next year due to the 31 point loss all you want, but your kidding yourselves if you think it will be like that next year.

I think Zona pulls the 'upset' in this one. It's nice to see UNC scheduling quality opponets out of conference at this point in the season though.

This makes me wonder what is really Dukes #1 home court advantage. The students, the lack of adequate AC, the time clock operators, or the officials?
