The redhounds have a hard task ahead of them cause beating a JD Strange team 3 times in a season will not be easy. This could be an upset.

It's always next year with the Colonels. They have got to learn how to play team basketball or next year will be more of the same. It won't surprise me if there is some shuffling before next year though.

Whitley county falls to 8-18 on the year and Monticello goes to 7-20. I'm not sure whats happened to the Colonels, they have lost 12 of their last 16 games after starting the season at 4-2. Not really what most Colonel fans hoped for this year.

This should be the best corbin team in many years, better than the 2004 team that I thought was the best 2a team in the state when healthy.

Whitley County has a bunch of winnable games coming up. Winning this one would really help their confidence when they face the redhounds in the district. Need a big game from Lebanion and Lowrie & Crawford have to hold their own to have a shot at this one.

I think that you are right, Clay's schedule is part of the equation. When you have a good offense and a very good QB(as Clay does), mix in Evarts(55 pts.), Estill Co.(54), Knott Central(62), Letcher Central(44) and Perry central(60), the numbers get a little distorted.

Did Lynn Camp play on Thursday & Sat with the A region starting on monday and another game Tuesday if they had won? That doesnt sound like a real good plan to me.

If Hammonds plays the way he usually does against Corbin or if Capt Kirk is in charge again, it shall be a long night for the redhounds. Is Crawford close to being healthy or is it still a day to day thing.

I dont know if us Whitley County taxpayers can afford any more money than what we are paying already for coaches. I guess cuts can be made somewhere else though besides the sports teams.

The rumor is that Campbell is staying at Corbin but will not play football. That doesn't make much sense though.

Greg Bargo left the Whitley County team after this game due to lack of playing time, will he go back to corbin now.

These 3 have a long ways to go to be considered with the best in the region. It looks like Deaton is going to let Lebanion play the point and Prewitts playing time will suffer.

Crawford would have scored 40 if not in foul trouble. What was the deal with his fouls, the Corbin coaches were arguing with the ref that he only had 2 and the official scorer had him with 3. I know that when they gave him his 3rd that he was not the one who did the fouling, I had a real good look at that one and the foul should have been on #20. Shelby valley may be in trouble their next game when they play that team that beat Pineville.

How about that Nolan boy, is he back for Corbin. He was as good a lineman as I saw all year long.

Lowrie and Crawford at Whitley Co

I'm not sure who those guys are on 103.9 maybe some of you South fans can tell me.

I would say that crawford earned all his ft's by taking it to the basket and drawing the contact. Barley had 5 for Corbin & Johnson had 4 according to his family. None of the big 3 had over 2 or 3 fouls for South. Those Cardinals did a lot of that floppin when they played the Colonels even though they didnt need to. I thought for a minute that I had gone to one of those european soccer matches a couple of times tonite.
