Middlesboro cant turn the ball over against good teams and win. their defense or their system is just not good enough, so they need to score just about every time they touch it or you see the result.

Michael Campbell is the player you are talking about for Corbin. He is a 235 lb sophomore who is there strongest player and may be their fastest back when 100% healthy. He has not run the ball since about the 3rd or 4th game of the season for from what I have been told. He is a load to bring down.

No one got beat up more than Brian Brohm. Rutgers brought waves of pressure at the Louisville quarterback, hitting, harassing and hurrying him for most of the second half. Brohm was sacked five times, scrambled out of the pocket on several occasions and finished just 13 of 27 for 163 yards. "All the pressure started to bother Brian," U of L coach Bobby Petrino said. I saw several times when he tucked and ran when there was no pressure if he only stepped up. His brother was on him hard on the sidelines.

The pressure gave Brohm "happy feet" and he would not step up in the pocket and look downfield for his receivers. Rutgers was much better defensively than I thought though.

Wonder if Corbin could slide into that 9-21 opening on the schedule.

It sounds like a repeat of his time at Corbin. They were worldbeaters early and would fizzle out come playoff time.

Rutgers wont beat Louisville or WVU and even if they did, I cant see them climbing over all the teams in front of them all the way to no.2.

No, Rutgers would not make the cut. There best win outside the conf was a 21-16 barnburner over UNC who has only won 1 game all year and that was against Furman(45-42)at home. The Cards will blow out Rutgers(who I would say is similar to Indiana)& if they happen to make the championship game will make a good go of it against whoever they might play.

You may be surprized by the final score of this game if you really believe what you posted. I'm guessing more like Bell 21, Knox 7.

The system is not fair but in all honesty the Cards dont deserve a title shot over teams like Ohio st, Mich, Florida, USC & Auburn that have to play several legit top 15 teams while the Cards only play WVU.

I figure them Yellowjackets are going to be doing some stinging tonight over in Harlan, somethin like 34-28 in favor of the Jackets.

I sure can't see those YellowJackets losing to a team that got beat by Grant county. Middlesboro by a bunch unless they decide to play giveaway with the football.
