Glad to see some of JC's players never give up. I thought Belhasen, Richardson, and Dennis Dillon played great defensive games. Hope to see more from Chase and Dennis next season! As for the offense, Ratliff and the others did the best they could without their two starting ends in Dials and Welch. It was a great run JC. You have nothing to be ashamed of.

Yeap, thats him. He's also the one that didn't miss a tackle on defense! Dials will go to a D-1 school for defense, not offense, and I dont think he will have a problem with that.

Look at the two schedules and JC should be the favorite by far. Belfry has played absolutely no good teams with the exception of Corbin and maybe Pikeville. JC would beat both of them by 28+. To be honest i am still up in the air on what i think about Belfry. I have watched them three times on TV and am yet to be overly impressed. If JC plays to 90% of their potential i say JC by 21. By the way, for everyone who has said JC can't physically handle Belfry, JC won a very physical game against Wheelersburg who is the most punishing HS football team i've seen in a while.

Play Belfry's style?? hmm...i forgot JC didnt run the Belly Offense, have a similar blocking scheme, and didnt play smash-mouth football.

Johnson Central hasn't lost on the road since that game at Ashland in 2005.

As far as I'm concerned, Mercer hasnt proved anything. A 2A championship for a 5A school shouldnt make them a top 5 team.

K I wanna know who you people think the best returning defensive backs are. List one or two from each region if you want. The reason I want to know about these regions is because its where I mostly see football being played at. So voice your opinions and let us know who ya think is a top corner or safety

They also have a stud DE named Nathaniel Dials who will be moved to LB. Dials is pretty darn strong, and has alright speed for his size. He is also being looked at by many D1 colleges, especially by UK. JC has loads of talent and just has a few spaces that need to be filled by underclassman. I kind of like it that many people haven't mentioned Central in these opinion polls. Look for the Golden Eagles to suprise and wow again in 2007 with one of the best running backs in the state.

I think JC got rings more for the fact that is was the first time they made it to semi-state. These kids set history at their school by being the first to accomplish this. Hopefully they can have one next year that says "STATE CHAMPIONS" :ylsuper: Oh, and btw, The boosters raised all the money for the 60 something rings. Just shows how proud the county is of this team.

is it just me, or has everyone forgot about that team in the mountains that made one heck of a run to the state semi's and that led CCH 14-10 at halftime during that game before a few miscues and injuries doomed them? Hmm... think they were called the Golden Beagles or something like that. I dont think they can be left out of this debate. And if they are, then look for them to turn heads and suprise everyone again next year. Go Beagles!

The only time it was near quiet was when our offense was at work. The fans supported our defense all night. But now we see which team is quiet, except for a few fans who cant get over a loss. It's people like you that give all of Ashland a bad name. Everyone else is complimenting each team, but all you can do is complain!:cry:

The entire JC football facility is being re-modeled after this year with turf and a set of bleachers on the other side.

Rude? No one is being more rude than you are right now. All i see from your posts are complaints and excuses on why Ashland lost. No JC fan is taking shots at Ashland, just complimenting them on a job well done. But rotten eggs like you always have to come onto these forumns and try to stir something up because your upset. 1. The complaints on our PA is just stupid. It's homefield advantage for a reason, and you all are the only ones to complain about it all year. 2. Go ahead and laugh at the Eagle's rushing attack, because we still found a way to win through the air and from the courageous effort of our defense. 3. Stop trying to take away from the outstanding performance's these teams had by taking cheap shots. The better team won and that's all there is to it. So live with it, we had to for a year and now it is your turn. 4. Your screen name fits you very well BadCat. Not taking away anything from the OTHER Ashland posters, because I believe you all have shown great sportsmanship and honor in your team, but a few of you just need to grow up and stop thinking of excuses.

It enhances the game experience. Maybe if JC had a band with more than 15 people in it that can hardly be heard over the crowd, they would just leave it to them. I, personally love the PA and I think its amusing how people bad mouth it so bad. Complain all you want, but it is home field advantage for a reason :ylsuper:
