I think maybe they play for an Ax in the Big Ten or somewhere. Somebody plays for an ax. I think firemen have more Axes than Bells anyway. Maybe they should change it from a bell to an Ax.

I'm talking about the guys on the radio. I"m sure the Covcath network crew is even worse. That's understandable, it's their network. I'm referring to the guys getting paid that are supposed to be unbiased.

No question they wouldn't make the playoffs. A bad Moeller team sent them home with their tale between their legs 2 yrs ago. St X quit before it started in that game. Didn't see X last year but heard they were much improved. I do like the fact that they aren't afraid to schedule the Cincy teams. I always have to root hard for the Ky teams but the success hasn't been there. The one success was Trinity's win over Elder which was very enjoyable for Ky football. I haven't checked the X schedule this year, but hopefully they are ready to beat an OHio power.

Losing is fine, but I like when they get beat 64-0 like Highlands beat them a few yrs ago.

Theres nothing worse than having to listen to a NKY broadcast of a Covcath game. The announcers scream if they get a 5 yard gain. The other team could run for a touchdown and the announcers are monotone. It's terrible.

Sorry if it offends you that I think 6 classes is a joke. I think Mr. spritzky made the same quote in the paper. I think Schneider wants to get away from Beechwood since Beechwood basically owns the series. Sorry if you disagree, but that's your right. I think the Pit makes one of the best atmosphere's for a high school game. And who doesn't love $10,000 split the pots?

I had always heard that all the NKY coaches were in favor of leaving the system intact with 4 classes. After reading the KY post article, I get the impression that Schneider favored the 6 classes. I think it's because he wants to get away from having to go through Beechwood.

6 classes is a joke. It kind of reminds me of girls slow pitch softball. There's about 10 teams playing and they call whoever wins the tournament one weekend the state champion. Let's just water down the state championships to make so almost everyone goes home a winner. Better yet, let's just not keep score and everyone just play for fun. I think 4 classes for football is more than enough. You already have mismatched 1-9 teams making the playoffs now. They come out and give up 50 pts in a half of football and then you get the running clock.

Why not play the best. Who cares how many guys they have. You can only play 11 on any given play. Many many many of the guys standing on the sidelines at the big schoos will never do much more than clap in their entire career.
