28-14 sounds like pretty optimistic thinking on someone's part. 28-0 will be the 1st qtr score. Highlands will have no less than 42 at the half.

That makes more sense. I can't see them ever fielding a varsity team.

You can still only play 11 at a time. I'd say at least 1/2 those kids have no business on a football field. They just won a title, now guys are coming out of the woodwork to play football. I feel it's safe to say there's more than 1 kid in that bunch who has never played a down in his life.

What kind of season is expected for Betsy Lane?

I saw a sign mentioning a fundraiser for the 1st year of Silver Grove Football. What's the story? Are they really having a team? Do they play Brossart or a couple teams from the Ft. Thomas Jr. league? I'd like to see them get enough guys for a team, but is it possible to have Big Train football?

Highlands will probably go for 100, but I think it will end up at 63-7. I'm saying 28-0 1st qtr..42-0 at the half quick score to start the 3rd qtr. Dixie runs back the kick on the 3rd kickoff team making it 49-7. Highlands reserves get a score late in the 3rd qtr. And the freshmen bunch one in with about a minute left making it 63-7.

I think they underachieve. I do give them credit for a tough schedule, but they often struggle with some of the small schools on their schedule.

My prediction 63-7. Don't laugh now at that prediction. Wait until we see a final. Highlands likes to put up points and if they scored that many against Male, they'll put up a bunch against a team with less speed.

Should be a decent game. It's 2 teams that usually under achieve during the regular season
