May actually make this trip this week with the family! I love playing Harrison. Last game I saw down there I think was when Frisk ran circles around them. God i loved watching him play! I may be mistaken about that being my last time down there. I am getting older this week and have noticed much more gray than yellow in my big bird feathers/whiskers! Like when you walk into a room to get something and forget what you went for. Then you spend the next few hours trying to remember what you were looking for, all the while wondering if you're losing your mind....

I feel sorry for you that you can't let this go. Everyone won't agree, that is our right to have our own opinion. Obviously! Those of us with public school background may have a different feeling than you will on this. Simply because for the most part, we find out who our teacher is, pay our school fees which never went over $150 per year, then that was it. It wasn't our worry that the school would not have enough for simple items they may need like books, or have enough volunteers to help throughout the year, or have a facility that consists of many buildings built over a number of years all hodge-podged together lacking any type of true entrance leaving people confused on how to even get into the building. I know what you're going through. I have family that went there and still very close to the school. I have seen the schematics for the new theater, entrance, chapel, etc. it looks great. I just think that the idea of a football program was sold without the entire explanation of truly how much it costs. Please don't take all the posts on here so personal. It is not directed at you personally.

Nothing but respect for Colonels. Bir was listed in program as only 6'0" but he sure plays like 6'4". McCoy was what he needed to be, a leader and to put team on his back. Showed great poise under pressure. How about Zack Harris? The last guy I remember wearing number 45 and looking that good doing it for the birds was this kid named Marty Moore. I think he was pretty good, right? I just said it. Harris reminds me of Marty in how he is fearless and pounds the ball. Similar to Corey Scarlato when I played.

That's why I used "bad weather" in my post. Mist won't do anything but a lot will cause a wading pond in the North end zone by the foundation club.

Just read that SK is on lockdown. Hope everyone is okay. I also am guessing they may not be playing tonight if that's the case.

Wrong, I bet you no one from Campbell Co. Is paying for Brossarts nice new addition that was highlighted in the recorder. I agree with that 100%, however the previous poster made it sound as though CCHS owed BBHS the right to use the field for no fee. I don't agree with that! I'm all for community and sharing, but not for entitlement!

No way with the rain. I say neither team breaks 30 if there is bad weather. You'll see some turnovers and lots of conservative 3 and out drives and Dale won't be going forint on fourth down near midfield like he does sometimes. Number one objective tomorrow is ball protection. Number two, controlling the clock.

The field plus the new coach and seemingly refueled spark back in the program and community about the camels may attract the handful of serious footballers that don't play any other sports. Most kids that go to Brossart (99%) aren't going there for football though.

As a public school grad and now a taxpayer, I have utter disdain for this comment. It is by choice that the residents of Alexandria, highland heights, Cold Spring, etc. pay tuition to go to a private school. Do you hear all of the NCC families that live in Fort Thomas claiming entitlement to play at highlands for their games? No! All the money for CCHS stadium was not tax dollars as you can read in previous posts. I'm getting really tired of people claiming entitlement. No one owes you anything.

Incorrect. Highlands has a small gym which we used to refer to it as the girl's gym because their locker room was in it. Now it's a multipurpose room for cheerleading and dance. Not sure if gym classes still use it. There are many more programs now and more kids involved that do necessitate a 2nd gym or at least a multipurpose room for pretty much any High School. How many people have coached and fought over gym time with other sports programs, especially in the winter months?

Isn't this thread about SK/Ryle? Does anyone know how Ryle comes into this one health wise? Have they been missing anyone that may make a difference coming back or are they going to be without anyone Friday that will cost them?

After seeing this score, I feel much better trying to hush all the Highlands nay-Sayers! I expected a much better game from SC too. What does this say about Takes Creek? A program that was very good when I played. They even sponsored and held the Thoroughbred Bowl where we beat Billy Jack and the Tornado the first time on the way to beating them at state. Sorry to hear this about TC.

I didn't, so I'm impressed that they did it much quicker than Ryle did. Look out but in about 10 years, Boone County Schools could be the answer to Jefferson County Schools and challenge them on many levels. I know, that's crazy talk, but I was on a roll.
