:laugh: Fan Bias? Well yeah you got me. I am a fan of SK. As I can tell you happen to have a little bias towards the Rockets. As for Hester, I dont think im the only one on here that thinks he is the best player on these two teams. And I stand by the athletic remark as well. There is no way you can even compare Hester and Chambers on athleticism. Israel is a big strong kid and thats what makes him good not his athleticism. Wade can jump but what else? And as for the other two I dont know enough about them but we shall see. As for Slaughter I said Hester had just as much ability in my mind just not the size.

It wouldnt shock me if Shelby wins by 20. Gallatin will need to shoot lights out to stay even close to the Rockets.

Hester wont have any problems with Shelby's athletes. Saying that is ridiculous. Pound for pound Hester maybe the best athlete on the floor.

I know these are kids we are talking about but drastic times calls for drastic measures. Harsher discipline is needed in some cases not just to straighten the guilty out but those around them and those who follow. Letting kids off easy time and time again will do no good. The AD at Holmes needs to get control over this program before it hits bottom. These kids and for that matter any kids at any school need to fear getting in to trouble alot more than they do. Holmes really needs to set an example of what they are not going to tolerate anymore. Letting the current varsity players and the ones to come ( JV, Freshman and Junior High ) know that these types of things will not happen if you want to be a student athlete at this school.

It's nice to know that his performance this year doesnt impress Tubby.

Holmes and CovCath should come out of this but Holy Cross will be a tough out whoever gets them in the districts. Holmes is starting to scare me again this year. Way too much one on one and no set plays at all. I know we heard alot about the teams chemistry this year but this many losses this early in the season has to take some sort of toll on young kids mentally.

The biggest game of the year will be Feb 9th when SK goes down to Shelby Co and takes on the Rockets. Mike will be back by then and we will see how this team and Mike plays against the defending champs. Cant wait for this one.

I read in a different post that the 16th regional tournament was being held at Morehead. This made me wonder why cant the 9th region tournament be held at NKU, a nice facility not too big or small. I know they pretty much have the regionals at Holmes or Ryle now every year. Why not just have it on a neutral court that probably does nothing but add to the atmosphere and excitement of the game. Just an idea ( and maybe a bad one ) but would like some opinions on this.

I think it's safe to say that Holmes should start worrying now. I know Duran is still out but they have been playing some really bad basketball this year at times and I dont believe that having Duran back is going to solve this problem.

No he wont be back for the Classic which isnt good news for the Pioneers. Cant expect to do too much in a tourney with as many talented teams without your leader. He wont be back I believe until early Feb.

I dont know by 20 but they would have won. SK never got into any kind of flow on offense and that is directly attributed to the absence of Mike. I still thought that SK would win this game but these things happen sometimes.

I think Elbert will hold his own in this matchup. They are basically the same type of player but Elbert in my opinion is better.

The only time Holmes will be in any trouble this year is when they play teams with some size. St Henry doesnt have that. Holmes-75 St Henry-57

If Boone can press and press effectively they could make this game very interesting. Without Mike in there SK has shown some issues with handling pressure.

If he was a few inches taller he would be a bigger D-1 recruit. ( Although you can say that about alot of kids ) He is a very smart and crafty ball player but just not quick or athletic enough to play guard in a big time conference at the next level. A mid-major would be a good fit for him or even a smaller school.
