SK needs to start shooting the ball better. Especially from behind the arc. If they can get the three ball falling down at the 5/3 they can play with any of those teams. Their not going to be able to just feed the ball to Hurd and expect him to dominate like he has up here. Teams down there will be bigger and better than the teams they have played so far. The guards will have to find their stroke down there.

What about Austin?

Really? This the same Tates Creek team that beat Lafayette? Didnt Lafayette destroy Bryan Station? Tates Creek is right at the top with Scott Co right now.

Is this final or halftime? What the heck happened to Holmes' offense? They havent been scoring the ball all that great the last 5 games or so but this is rough.

Who's got more quality wins so far? Ballard or Tates Creek. Plus Tates Creek doesnt have a 21 pt loss on their record.

And Tates Creek might be even better than Scott Co. 11th is the best, there is 7 teams in this region that would be in my top 25.

I have a feeling that wont be too long from now.

This might be a long night for the Eagles. Tates Creek has wins already this year over E-Town, UHA by 30, Lex Lafayette and Lex Cath. Those are some pretty impressive victories. Maybe they will take Scott lightly and the Eagles could give them a scare.

It's funny that Cov Cath already has Doss on their schedule as their first game in the tourney. Not saying much for Bourbon Co. (Doss's first round opponent) Not that I disagree with them though.

If they lose to Walton Verona I will be shocked. They will need an equal or better performance than they had tonight to make some noise at the 5/3. They can beat Henry Clay. They played them very tough last season only losing by 6 in a game they could have won. And that was with Dunnaway, without him this year I think SK has the better team. Of course it only gets tougher after that.

Dixie was never really in the game from the tip. Score would have been worse if it wasnt for some really bad calls. Very ticky tack calls and a few very clean blocks that were called fouls on SK. Having said that the big three of Hester, Hurd and Elbert really played well. Hester I believe had 25pts and both Hurd and Elbert were probably in double figures in both points and rebounds.

Im not so sure of that. There have been a lot of great shooters in the ncaa that didnt make it to the nba. If he was 6'5 or bigger with that stroke then he would have a much better chance. Chris has to work a lot on his all around game before he becomes an nba caliber player.

Last I heard he seemed pretty sure that he would be back in mid to late January

Darius is a wonderful basketball player but depending on what kind of team Oak Hill has next year. ( should be loaded ) He may not even start and not be a main player on the team. Too much of a risk for Darius. Probably better to just stay at home. He really doesnt need anymore exposure anyway considering the coaches that are already coming to see him now.

How come no one mentioned Feldhaus? I thought he went to Mason?

Josh is the MVP of this team so far. Hester still demands the most attention and rightfully so but teams are going to have to start picking their poison with this SK team. I really dont understand why teams dont play more zone against them. It makes getting the ball to Hurd more difficult and takes away Hesters ability to get to the basket with such ease. SK hasnt been shooting the ball that well this season which is just another reason to drop back in zone.

That is a bit of a downer. Bengals or Pioneers? Torn. Maybe ill just have to settle for watching the bball game and catching the second half of the football game.
