  1. I hope he stays a Panther!! :thumb:
  2. Sorry I was looking to when he was a senior. Heard rumors he may end up at South Laurel. Anyone else heard that?
  3. I was sitting in the end zone. Told my buddy that Laurel sure did play these guys tough. Then Andrews throws it in. Cold chills...it was something you will never forget.
  4. The Miller kid is just a freshman. He may be the most talented one on the floor last night.
  5. Senior night at the new Knox Central field. Trying to beat Bell for the first time in a while. Bell 27 Knox 25. Heartbreak city
  6. That boy plays way beyond his age. I hope he keeps improving. :thumb:
  7. This happens a lot more than you think. I'm an old 13th region boy. We (Knox Central) rented Union College's gym when we didn't have one. Barbourville rented Union College's gym for the district. Pineville rented Bell County's gym. But the host school made that call. It's only fair.
  8. COOL !:ylsuper: Thanks for the lesson. Ins & Outs is why they would rent the gym. All part of the fee.
  9. Fairness, smairness. You want Augusta to host it in a gym that holds about 600 people? Augusta gym is to small, but they ought to have a right to decide where it goes and be able to work the tournament and prosper financially from it with concessions & so forth. Augusta can rent Mason's gym. At least it was fair and Augusta's call. Paris may want to rent Montgomery's gym. But its there call. As one can see I'm a novice on the computer and need a lesson in cut & paste. Sorry bout that.
  10. Fairness says everyone should host it. Sounds to me like the almighty $$$ is more important than the young men playing the game.:argue:
  11. Don't most regions spread there regional sites around unless they have a place like Memorial Coliseum or something like that to make it an even playing field. I know Mason has a big gym, but is that fair to everbody year after year. Sounds to me like those small schools in Northern Kentucky are more interested in what they put in there pocket than if there school or any other school in the 10th has a chance.
  12. That little Queen fellow is pretty solid.
  13. Would Lea Wise Prewitt want to coach her daughter's. I heard it was a tough job with a lot of different people to please.
  14. I think she is going to Georgetown. She will be hard to handle there. Turned down Morehead & Eastern.
  15. Was told that the Transy job was just a stepping stone to a possible opening in Richmond in a couple of years??!!
  16. Have heard from a couple of guys who referee in the the region that it was a done deal.
  17. Oliver was a great athlete. He won the state track titles in the long jump, triple jump, and 110 high hurdles. He could jump out of the gym. Ran a 4.5 40 for a tight end.
  18. Was that while he was there or after he left. I know a few of his ex-players lost all respect for him after he left. i just wandered if they were mad because he left?
  19. One thing I saw with Morris as Da Coach. The players truly loved there coach. Also I haven't seen a team hit as hard as they did in the last 15 years.
  20. Oliver White playerd at UK in the mid 80's with Jerry Claiborne. Went to the Hall of Fame Bowl lost to West Virginia and beat Wisconsin. He started at tight end.
  21. Last Thursday Alan Cutler had Morris on his radio program. Morris said he still loves KY. Vacationed last year at Lake Cumberland and will be at the Derby this weekend. His wife and he still may retire in Kentucky. Barnhart has made some good hires, but he would have been better off to left the football program alone. They would have played in a bowl Lorenzen senior year. Lastly.....it wouldn't suprise me when Petrino does leave Louisville. Mr. Jurich gives Guy a call??!!
  22. Both these teams have one thing in common.......Great Coaches!! They both get the job done no matter where there at or who they got. I see Montgomery three or four times a year. Not saw Boone in 2006 but I did see them three times in 2005 and a few times in 2004. Great coaches make for great games...........Montgomery 53-50 in a Titanic Struggle!!!
  23. Campbellsville likes Neace!
  24. Scary to think....Montgomery has everyone back next year!!! Montgomery 67-59.
