Bell County (6-2) travels to the new stadium in Barbourville to meet district rival Knox Central (6-2). Last year's game at Bell was played in the night of unbelievable lightning, bad weather, and long delays. Bell won 26-20. Coach Mills knows Coach Hilton (having coached at Bell with Hilton as asst. coach, I believe) very well. But this was the Hilton of old. "3 yds. and a cloud of dust!" Bell has a new offense this year and is throwing the ball well! Bell's defense led by Auburn bound, Brent Slusher, has been playing well. This should be a great game, but Bell is hitting on all cylinders now. Bell wins this one 34-6. There could be a rematch in the first round of playoffs, depending how things go.

I believe this game will be much closer and could go in favor of KC. KC needs a big win to insure they get in.......KC will have to play a near perfect game.

KC will play Bell tough. Coach Mills is a great coach and knows Bell Co very well. Bell will win, but I think it will be close for a while. And because of Coach Mills, anyone know has been around him much are pulling for KC every game, but one each year.

KC pulls of the shocker (to some people that is) it will be close, with KC prevailing in the end.

I think a closer game than most think is in store.

I think Knox Central is capable of playing with Bell, but the Bobcats will not be overlooking the Panthers this year. I going to pick Bell by a TD, but would not be surprised by a Panther win nor a bigger Bell margin. A lot is going to need to go right and the margin of error is slim.

No way Knox is going to beat Bell. I don't think the score will be close at all!! But, we'll see on Friday!

I didn't think it would be close last year, but it was...KC a little better and Bell not QUITE as tough (as last year), game at KC.........could be the making of an upset......thought I would pick it just in case.......

As much as I enjoy a good ol upset, just can't see it happening. Bell by 14.
