  1. Jackson had 20 plus, Euton had 9. Marshall Co played very physical, alot of Euton's shots were contested. I'm sure he will bounce back.
  2. 5th third is definitely weak, with possibly the #2 and #3 team in it. Of course #1 Scott is not in, therefore not a top notch tourney. I think unfortunately I just named Scott Co #1. Must be getting late.... LOL, still think the 5th third is still a pretty good ticket between Dec 26th thru the 30th. And, for what it's worth, wish Scott Co was there...
  3. Vince Sanford had way more upside than Dante Stewart for Lafayette, can't believe Dante will be on the list at the end. Also Montel Morones from Bryan Station is a possible.
  4. Lex Catholic Stewart 28 Newton 19 Novosel 18 Smart 7 Tates Creek Sparks 22 Spalding 13 Watkins 11 Parris 11 Johnson 9 Both teams left it on the floor. Shame there had to be a loser. Great Game.
  5. Lex Catholic could not have beaten many teams tonight. Chemistry is lost currently. Lafayette tried to give it away, taken some ill advised shots, but Lex Catholic did not take advantage. Don't think they overlooked their district foe, just did not have the right answers tonight. Give credit to Lafayette, they whipped the knights in EVERY way, deserved the win.
  6. We want the Lions to come to Central Ky. They are a great bunch of young men, the fans here would love the way they play.
  7. How can they be ranked higher than a team that beat them??
  8. Don't understand how a team whose only losses (in the state) are to the #2 and #5 team, who have beaten # 3 and #7 are rated lower than the #7team?? Schedule is one of the strongest in the state. Help me understand. I know the ratings don't mean anything in the real world, but why publish info that is not logical???
  9. Russell played a great game, but fatigue became a factor late in the game and ot. mason's coach substituted wisely, had legs at the end of the game. Russell made too many turnovers late, fatigue and mason pressure were the factors. Both schools have very good teams. HC & Mason will be a interesting match up. Hoose had a great game. the point guard from mason keep them in the game from treyville. Good luck to both in tomorrows match ups.
  10. JBS has a nice team. Don't agree with their offense. Try to make it a one man show. they have other weapons, should balance the shots more. Cox the center and forward should get more looks. Actually would think Stepps pts would not suffer and his % would increase. Still they are a nice team, wish them the best.
  11. As I predicted the Knights are still playing timid, no confidence. TC outplayed them in every facit, TC deserved the W and got it. Even TC's fans were better.
  12. Mason will be tough to beat at home. Neutral floor would be good game.
  13. Meyers for FC is a Soph and I think is the real deal. His shooting is his strength, as well as BBall IQ. When he gets hot dificult to stop, hope that FC is giving him the minutes...
  14. Wish the Elliott Co. young men would play close to Central Ky. The fans around here would love to watch them play. Would love to be at the 16th Regional Tourney this yr...ought to be a good one!!
  15. Catholic has struggled thus far this season. TC is playing better at this point, The Creekers will prevail in this one. When districts start, LC may get the nod.
  16. Elliott - The twins + Fergie will rebound off the loss and lead their team to a win ...or die trying. These young men are very smart and will reflect on the previous outing.
  17. 11th Region Teams – 1. Scott County, 2. Madison Central, 3. Lexington Catholic, 4. Bryan Station, 5. Henry Clay, 6. Tates Creek, 7. Lafayette, 8. Paul Dunbar, 9. Franklin County, 10. (tie) Woodford County and Lexington Christian. Top players – 1. Bud Mackey (Scott Co.), 2. Matt Walls (Scott Co.), 3. Aaron Morris (Madison Central), 4. Victor Moses (Henry Clay), 5. Nathan Novosel (Lexington Catholic), 6. Shelvin Mack (Bryan Station), 7. Jaron Jones (Bryan Station), 8. Dante Stewart (Lafayette), 9. Taylor Stewart (Lexington Catholic), 10. Duane Fields (Madison Central). Agree but... Move Bryan Station up to #2 Jordan Smart over Taylor Stewart and Scott Co Lee before Dante Stewart from Lafayette 6th Region PRP #1
