Tough loss for Boyd last night! It was a heckuva game though! Congrats to Ashland!

Yeah, I was very impressed with Wilson tonight. He started out slow, but hit some very clutch buckets in the 3rd quarter...

Boyd won 54-43 Boyd's defense was EXCELLENT in the second half. I think Euton had something like 20 pts, but only scored 7 in the second half.

Selby had 24/15 boards and CD had 16.

There is no way I can pick against Ashland with how good they're currently playing. Ashland- 65 East Carter- 49

Yeah, he was kicked off for missing more than three practices. He's a only a junior btw...

I've been to almost every BC game this year and not once have I heard them start a derogative chant. I think they were afraid to chant anything after the principle and APD came over and told them to keep their mouths shut before the game started... I don't recall the BPD going over to Ashland student's section and telling them to keep their mouth's shut when they played at Boyd Co.

After Selby made a layup, they chanted "he's still fat." They did that on multiple occasions last night. Congrats nevertheless, you all have a solid basketball team!

Not too many that I know of- Potter, Gatrell, Sargent.

The Boyd Co. student section was asked to move b/c the Ashland administration did not want both student sections standing across from each other. So most of the students just stayed seated where they were until the whole conflict was resolved. They were told not to chant anything derogative and I think that's a big reason of why the student section was quiet the whole night. It's very unfortunate, b/c the Ashland section was chanting some very inappropriate chants, and no one stopped them.

That's true but you could move Branham to third where he played as a sophomore and someone like Plummer could slide into second base. Should be interesting to see what Coach Maynard does, though...

Shortstop? Bowling Left Field? Sturgill Right Field? Venters First Base? Crisp Not sure if that's what will happen but I have seen these players in those positions in the past...

Ithink ull be surprised at the talent they actually have and the reason for the lack of a "team" was due to certain distractions that are no longer there and have been taken care of and trust me the team is much closer and more of a true team than they have been in the past few years

Well thats very interesting that u r watching these practices because they do not exsist the only thing going on right now is conditioning and if coach evans is approaching things this way it is because he doesnt know he will be the head coach and he doesnt want to put the team together a certain way only to have it rearranged if someone else happens to get the job and from experience i know the boys will respect the coahces that respect them

He hasnt had much success at boyd?? before damron came a lot of people couldnt even remember the last playoff game boyd had one and he won playoff games his first three years

boyd's lack of success late in the season last year had nothing to do with coaching or the type of offense ran we had more than enough talent to run that offense but that was the problem we had excellent INDIVIDUALS and ther wasnt much of a TEAM as far as the new head coach i belive lee evans is the perfect man for the job hes more of an old school type coach who doesnt care who u r or who ur mommy and daddy are or how good u r ur still gonna work jsut as hard as everyone else for him and i belive that more coaches need to be like that
